All these grids are annoying me to death. Grids here, grids there. This place looks like a bad Excel sheet. Haven't we moved past tables in web design?

A few things would still need to be put in place like link colors, and maybe certain images like Post Reply and the various Quote, PM, E-mail. Besides that, it's basically complete, although everything is open to criticism and discussion of course.

A few notes: You'll notice some features and information gone, which I removed as useless clutter. If you're really passionate about these features and can't live without them, post about it. I just can't imagine people missing the "Subscribe to this forum" link too much. Also, I'd expect a few JavaScript behaviors to be in place. You can see on the topic view page, hovering over a user's avatar would show that user's info. Also, clicking on the separator bar between posts and sigs would hide all sigs on the page.

I'm in favour of the sig thing if the seperator bar conceals them by default or can be set to do so.

I agree with atob. Everything is solid, except the sigs would look better underneath posts. You can already hide signatures using the UCP, anyway. This has lots of potential, though. I like it.

I love that new sig placement! Anyway, I miss the thread icons like Pinned, New replies, No new replies etc. And section titles (Community Chat, Community Interest and N). I don't see anything that I don't like except that.

I do like the idea you've got there, but my main niggles are these...

The scrolling sigs just don't look nice, I'd recommend either leaving them below posts or ditching the signature system all together (Or allowing for certain members).

Most the other things look nice, throw a few layer styles here and there and make the background colour less harsh and I'm with you on this one.

I'm not noticing the minipost thing that gives you a direct link to that post. I really thought that was useful.

As for the actual design, I like how clean it is, but putting the signatures on the left makes it look to much like a comment thread, I think. Other than that, it's pretty good! I wont complain too much if it's not changed. After all, I can always use a different skin.

It looks clean, maybe a bit too clean. Colors seem to bright to be Metanet for some reason. :/ The signature area is the only thing that I don't like.

The signature placement is ugly.
Other than that, I'm totally for this idea. Great work, LV.

We're very divisive on the sig issue in this thread.

I'm all for sigs to the right, but I understand and appreciate those who are opposed to the idea.

I think the sigs look ugly over to the right. Of course, I normally have sigs disabled anyway, so as long as it doesn't affect that I don't care overly much.

This is an awesome skin. A few things though:

- We need more delineation between Pinned/Annoucement topics and the regular topics.
- I'm with Atilla on the signatures. I personally prefer them to be below posts. Having them on the right, especially with the scrolling bar is ugly.
- I'm all for the fast reply function at the bottom of a thread.
- The post link function was also a convenient feature. It'd be great if you could also include that, and perhaps with a bigger button.
- We also need a better colour scheme.

It's good, but I don't like the signature display (under posts rules), and I'm unsure of the topic display on the index.

However, I really liked the profile view, and the headers etc were pretty cool too.

Is the separator bar completely adjustable? When you click on it from it's default (hopefully hiding sigs) position, I think it'd be cool if it went to the entire opposite position (ie. hiding all posts, only showing sigs and avatars). That way, the only way that you'd ever really see the scroll bar is if someone has an outrageously large signature or if you've adjusted the bar manually.

I definitely agree with "a to b" about the sig thing. However, the thing you did with the post count was very nice. Imo, a darker shade of blue and its a winner.

Upon looking at the sigs, it would never work for what we have now. Signatures would have to be revolutionized in order for this to work. It'd take some getting used to, for sure.

Totally agree. Though having the sig a bit closer might do some good. Though I see some peeps don't like it. The old traditional one seems alright though =|

Shouldn't this be in images with all the other skins. And the image should be a bit bigger for us to see.
