The *NEWEST* Mentoring thread (mentor sign-ups) *SIGN UP!*

by Rhekatou
Okay - so the last two threads faded quick.
(
Second one original)
I have a new solution - that you have a list of active people on wait, and a seperate thread for sign-ups.
When someone signs up, I put that person on a pm to someone, or who they want.
They pm each other/comment on maps.
This way, the people can sign up for mentoring, and know they are being mentored, not to mention the fact that when you see someone with less than 5 maps, or really basic maps, you can (nicely) give them a link to this thread.
This will help it run smoothly, and I am only making sure active members are mentoring, so no complaints from the people about not seeing their mentors.
Sign ups to be a mentor start NOW! so submit an app (post on this thread).
Also - please only join if you are active on therealn and visit numa regularily.
Active constitutes as coming, scrolling through topics/maps, etc. Not necesarily posting.
This will be better organized.
Cool!

If I'm not mistaken, your other two threads have fallen off the page. Do you know what that means? It means that people aren't interested. So why in the name of fucking God do you decide to make TWO MORE FUCKING THREADS???
GAAAAHHHH

If you read the other two threads, you would see why:
people forget to commit themselves. people liked it, but no one did anything.
I hope to have fixed this problem.
Now, if
you have a
problem, please file a complaint in a
pm. Otherwise, stop.
If someone else says this, and really means it, then I'll take you seriously.
But,in the meantime, you have been doing this on every thread that happens.
Cut.
It.
Out.

Haha.
You hate me too,
like a mini Laurie.
Anyhows:

So we just search through and find a new mapper that could use some help, and help them? Sounds fun.
Bionic Cryionic wrote: want in! It could help to make noobs average mapmakers, and then they won't be noobs! They can even be pros if they try hard...

I am using his suggestion.

Yes.
I did say that.
But that was because people were forgetting...

I think that I said that before you made a bajillion other threads about the same damn thing.

If you so fucking want this thing to happen, revive the original thread. Don't create a bunch of new ones. Do you honestly think people won't be annoyed by having their forum cluttered up with irritating spam? You actually had a good idea, I'll grant, but you've totally fucked it up. If I didn't know you already, I might try to be nicer with this next bit, but I know how you are. So here's what I say you do: If you really care about this concept, hand it over to someone who's learned to use their head-mush.
Byyyyyyyy the way, mini-Laurie? I'd think you'd call me mega-Laurie, considering our history.

TWO.
*Doesn't even comment on gloomp, shakes head.*
Just rain on someone elses parade?
And if you don't like it, you don't have to comment.
And laurie, stop spamming me with pms that say "blah" a million times.
If i continued to do what you are doing, someone would ban me.
So go, and commit suicide.
That, or stop flaming on my thread and ruining a perfectly good topic.

That was your goal in the first place, wasn't it.
And you are turning it inot that.
And, I said that to sidke because I had a reason: he was mindlessly banning me just to make
you laugh, gloomp.

And all three of you are contributing to it. Take the destructive criticism to PMs.
Although I agree with gloomp: I'd recommend reviving the original thread and stating that you'd like to start it again. Of course, there's better ways to convey that message than the way he did.

The goddamn point we're making is that it isn't a good thread. The original was good, but this isn't. There's no good reason for it to exist.
Anyway, yeah. This should be locked. I don't want to actually really snap.

But when it is already remade, is there a point in destroying it :?

Agreed. I'll lock this for now. Rhekatou, feel free to revive the first thread, or PM me or any of the other mods if anything else comes up.
Rhekatou wrote:But when it is already remade, is there a point in destroying it :?
I'm not destroying it, I'm just preventing it from disintegrating any farther than it already has.
