Red is to flashy. Lavender is too white. Cornflower - there already are two blue groups, we don't need a third one. Chartreuse looks almost the same as Legacy Elite, and Flesh looks like Global Moderators. And Orchid looks cooler than Rosy.

CS and I don't get the colour? Damn, not cool. =P
LV, if you see this, would you mind? XD
Either way, I'm torn between crimson and rosy brown.
EDIT: I chose rosy brown. Red is too invasive.
EDIT2: Make vote changing possible please =( I really like the cornflower blue. I saw it compared to the mods and regular users, and it's both less invasive and prettier.

I returned our colour to normal for now.
Mods, I'm sorry, talk to LV about it, or go screw around in the UCP - you should be able to find a way to get your nice dark blue back. I can't do that. But at least this is better than red.

I vote for the normal.
I'd rather people not join because they want to have a different user color.

For fuck's sake, people. This is a decision that doesn't affect our little circle of MoA, this is something that affects the forums as a whole. Do we even have an admin's permission to be doing this? I'd imagine not, so change it back to normal.
I now vote to remove the ability to change user group options from whomever has been changing the names to the deep red.
There is only one suspect.

Sidke, I agree that crimson's extremely obnoxious, and only put it as an option to see whether anyone actually agreed with it.
We
do have admin's permission, though. KinGAleX, specifically. Or at least, he helped us give the moderators they colour back and helped us sort some stuff out (not the crimson stuff)
But i think something as big as MoA deserves a subtle color change, just for convenience's sake. I mean, it's probably the biggest mapping project since Legacy, Ampersand and Vehemence, so why not? As long as it's not completely obnoxious (like the crimson stuff) then I don't see why we shouldn't be allowed this privilege.
And actually, yeah. This poll should have been made public to everyone. I could reset it and get someone to move it, if you want.

Okay, lock this please. Issue resolved.
Alternatively we could try this out on the entire community, since a global opinion matters more.

mappack's shouldnt have their own colors just because they're big mappacks. that goes for the legacy as well. i dont see what makes them so special aside from making a mappack that was good and large.

im
thankful im not in the pack anymore. im just ballsore (which is an excellent phrase) because a lot of moa is noobs who want to be special and who think they can gain a special status by changing their color. which is shallow.

the colors just distinct some mappers from others, which is a naive way to say "im better than you". why does being part of a map pack put you in a different category than other mappers? even the Legacy Mappack. thats ridiculous.
i can understand mods and admins having special colors, because they're important and they do important things for the benefit of the community, but then people are throwing in the Y&BB colors and other pointless stuff that just deems the whole system worthless.
no one takes anything seriously around here.
Just in case people didn't see this on the other thread.
