I read the thread about southpaw/r_t's non-molestation and though, "Huh. Cool. I'd like to meet some of these guys."

While keeping in mind that this plan is sort of in alpha1, I wanted to start the hugely ambitious project of meeting up with some dudes/dudettes in some sort of area on a continent Near You.

As I have no idea where most of you live, I would recommend posting here about your general area (e.g. state, if you're in the US) and your transportation situation.

Also, there's no deadline yet. I need more information!

That'd be fun. I'm in Washington. Anytime is good for me, although I will be very busy this next school year. My parents will probably not allow me to go alone though - they think I will inevitably be molested or something - and I don't yet have my driver's license. So this summer would be somewhat awkward for transportation. But I'd still be up for it.

Fraxtil and I are from Arizona.

In about a year (it will be the summer after I graduate high school) I'm planning a road trip around the Western United States. I'll go from AZ to Montana, over to Washington, and down the West Coast back home. This is just a head's up to all the Metanetters who live around there and want to meet up with me and have some lunch. I'm planning to go with my two best friends, and it'll be June 2010. Some time next year I'll think about this more. Yeah.

I'm in Canberra (Australia, yay), so just about the only people I could meet are Communist, who I see at school anyway, and squibbles... though actually that would be pretty cool.
