Hey, guys. I have a problem about mIRC.
I have a connection problem. It says that it's connecting to the irc.mountai.net (6667) but it can't. It says "Unable to resolve server" On the other hand my internet works properly.
Also, sorry for making a thread for this problem, I've PM'd a few people but didn't get a remarkable reply. And I've learned that they could connect to the server, I don't know what's wrong.
Note: This could be the thread for the mIRC problems from now on, yeah. If this become sticked, it would be cool. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to create this topic, if this is not the right one, apologies. (I don't know if there is a another thread same as this one though)

No, not at all. I used mIRC today, then shut down the computer. And when I turned it on again and tried to get on mIRC, I couldn't.987654321 wrote:irc.mountai.net Port 6667, right? Make sure your firewall software (if you have one) isn't blocking it.

This is not a mIRC problem. Reinstall mIRC, I guess, although it's more likely a problem with your internet.

I re-installed mIRC, it didn't worked again. Though my internet provider's DNS is working properly and I can browse through web. What's wrong?SlappyMcGee wrote:This is not a mIRC problem. Reinstall mIRC, I guess, although it's more likely a problem with your internet.
Oh, I can connect to the other servers though, I don't know what's the problem with the server. But more weirdly, the server is working for other people too.

Try other programs, like XChat or even Mibbit.

I downloaded XChat, but I'm not sure how I could connect to irc.mountai.net. Any help? Nevermind, I solved my problem. Thanks for the help, guys.Donfuy wrote:Try other programs, like XChat or even Mibbit.
