How does this warrant a thread? I'm not trying to be a buzzkill, but why has our community fallen so hard that we need to talk about the number of threads we have? I'm getting tired of the lack of sustenance in our forums. Somebody needs to defibrillate us, and soon.

That is to say, there's no reason why we can't point this out. Did we point out 5000? No. But no one (um, maybe you) would have complained. Should we do this every 1000 topics? Eh, probably not. But to quote a dude who used to hang around here, chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill

Edit: Jesus, quit with this how low can our community go bullshit. I thought we'd gotten past that whole deal.

Congrats to atob and the rest of the Metanet community who have made maps! Exeception: Those who spammed/multiaccounted and sniped. So that probably leaves about 7 people...

6000th thread. That explains the huge 200000 written over the banner, right?

But the board index says we only have 4711 threads... I'm confused.

Prolly doesn't count deleted threads. Same reason why it says we have 1622 members but the newest one is #5086.

(edit: Oh, in case I misunderstood: gloomp is calling this the 6000th thread due to the t=6000 in the url)

Ah, that makes sense. But wow, that means we've deleted a ton of topics and even more members. o,O

Mm, I'd guess that at least 95% of it is down to spambots (and the topics they create).

That's what I figured too, but that's a lot of spambots. I didn't realize our little infestation problem was that bad. Guess that means it's being handled well. ;)

We don't delete a lot of the stupid threads you guys make! We just move them into a secret subforum that nobody can see but us! That way, if whoever did it was wrong, we can go back on that shit.
