I really don't see why we left perfectly good forums to this badly designed, horribly colored and dissapointing forum.

To the extent of my knowledge, it was the host (forumer) which was causing a lot of problems with the forum, so it was moved to theRealN, which is owned by Dave.

And you call it a "badly designed, horribly colored and dissapointing forum". While i'm pretty sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you're a dick. If you don't like the design, use a different skin. If you don't like the skins, make your own. If you don't like anything on this forum, maybe you can put in the incredible effort needed to make your own. Oh, but make sure that it satisfies the demands of every single person who uses it. Anything less would make you a hipocrite.

Okay sorry, I didnt know about skins and I didnt know the whole story. I just wanted to know why we did the change, I shouldnt have said that about the forums.

Various parts of the forum are still under construction, so things don't look ideally as good as what it will be. Have patience.

hehe, i switched through skins and i found one i actually like more than the old forums' skin ^^

You are not serious. You can't be serious. I refuse to accept this term. This forum is better than the old one, period. Also, it beats Forumer's hosting and actually brings this to TheRealN hosting (under phpBB), with better adverts. Should I remind you of Forumer? Yeah, that should work. I think a good move was done here.

And have you seen all the new BBcodes? The colors? We can even edit posts now, it's wonderful. As already stated, it's still under construction, but even then, it's still better than Forumer. It's that good, and to those who feel awkward to the new layout will get used to it. The Forums are currently going through the biggest revamp era since the new skin in the old forums, and should be enjoyed, rejoiced, and participated upon as much as possible.

Since you made that more recent comment about the skins, I'll cross off "horribly colored". And while I could list all the stuff that I think is better about these forums, like Animator did, I think it would be more beneficial if you elaborated on what you feel is "badly designed" and "disappointing".

And as for you, Condog, you're a mod now. I think we've all noticed you've become harsher in the past few months, but since acquiring modship, you haven't toned it down any. I, for one, strongly disagree with your initial response in this thread. It was destructive and uncalled for. You were responding to spuzalot, not some troll or flamer. What's the deal?

I believe the move was also hacker-friendly too, mare, raigan and kablizzy all got hacked in the old one, I suspect it was very easy to hack into it and destroy the whole thing. That's why we had the blue_tetris take over.

Anyone could edit posts on the old forum. Metanembers could delete their posts and edit their posts without the 'Edited by' line.

Im sorry Blue_tetris and others involved in making the new forum. I was out of line and should not have said that. These are good forums I just didnt take the time to explore them and test them out. Im not someone that is used to change. Im sorry if I insulted you guys in anyway.

I'm not the least bit insulted. I think identifying problems is the first step in solving them.

Help out any way you can.

Whats Wrong With LittleViking?
I like the look of the new forums more than the old ones and theyre are no different to navigate?
The ads dont even get in your way theyre just to small rectangles at the top if the page... no need to cry about it
