Okay. This project died because, though a neat idea, the aspect of anonymity with the ability to keep submitting do not work in this context. Sincerity was lost amid a sea of absurdity and humor, and those who were actually sincere became frustrated and ultimately must have been a little embarrassed. The same problem occurred with the second MetaSecret. People can keep submitting, sure, but there are better outlets for that type of thing, so the only thing we're encouraging by resurrecting this is more "spam."

I can't find any spam in that site.

The only shit this does is make fucked up people with weird problems feel accepted.

EDIT: Yeah, some of these are definitely mine... also, wasn't there a non-ongoing MetaSecret that was simply compiled and then left? So you couldn't submit any? Is that still around?

MetaSecret was a great idea, simply because of the gigantic amount of honesty there is in this forum (now that that other guy has died/left). But it's an idea that can only really be done once or twice per member - after that, you just don't have any good secrets left.
