Not sure if this is the right place to put this, as I dont really think its technically about N Mapping, but w/e.

Basically, I'm putting maps that have recently been sniped into my sig, so that they get the attention they deserve and eventually become unsniped. Is this a good idea or not? Instead of anti-sniping maps, Im simply giving people the opportunity to look at these maps and judge for themselves.

Yaaarrrrr.. I was sniped back in '62 it was.. Many a day without food and nothing for me wound but Iodine and rum. Arghh the searing torturous pain I suffered. The smell of shrapnel and gun powder lingered in the air, I was lost as my map had been sniped to oblivion. I was forced to make my way through the shrapnel at the tkx3 base and the sky was cool as the ocean was blue and a crazy killerman was on the lose shot a 0 at me but Infernus retalliated with a 4.5 and knocked him out coldcut.

Aside from this being in the wrong place (n mapping or nmaps.net would be suitable), unless you can prove that a low vote was cast maliciously then you can't call a drop in average - no matter how severe - a snipe.

All this is going to do is inspire a slew of anti snipes which will further cheapen the already (largely) superficial ratings system.

Somone close this thing, please.

hmm idk take it as a compliment because ive never been sniped cause its not worth sniping me but on a good author it can really hurt sooo just take it as a compliment and move on

Maps get sniped, it's just a rating, no-one cares about ratings.

Fair enough, I guess. Was just checking to see whether this was the right thing to do or not.

oh well anyways your a good map maker dont worry about like i said take as a compliment, people that snipe are susually suckish when it comes to ned and are jelous
