I'm using a 64 bit system, don't know if the same will happen on 32 (or other 64s for that matter).
The basic issue is that N lags. It's not the Vista issue whereby frames freeze from time to time.
The game in general plays as though it's missing out every other frame - even at a constant 8ms/f.
Every 25 or so frames, the frame time will skip from 8 to ~27ms/f for just one or two frames, then return.
Any idea of a solution to this?
It's not at a point where N is unplayable, however I couldn't imagine myself getting many decent demos as it currently is.

Be a dick.
Edit: Ohhh, wait, that isn't a solution to your problem. Have your tried the sound-enhancement fix that usually works for Vista?

Weird. I guess we'll have to wait a bit and see if this is a common problem.

I'ma put N on one of my Win7 machines today, and I'll see if I can't get a solution for it.

It's somewhat late, but if you haven't already resolved the issue, turn off Windows Aero and the other visual elements that make 7 look so pretty. It should run perfectly fine after that.

Ah, I fixed it by changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP.
