Reservoir, by Fanfarlo.

Their style is very similar to Arcade Fire's, and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes AF. Although they're debut album is neither as rebellious or consistent as Funeral, more than half of the album is still fantastic. "I'm a Pilot" opens the album up with a wonderful introduction orchestrated by stamping percussion, followed by the tremendous voice of Simon Balthazar and accompanied by Cathy Lucas. "Comets," another favorite, carries on the quality with a catchy theme and vocal "look up, open the clouds / here come the bombshells / on the way home." The album concludes with "Finish Line" and a bonus track, both of which are great tracks in their own right. Highly recommended, and one of my favorite groups at the moment.
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

The last time you said something was post-rock, it wasn't. This is probably the same, and also bad.

Just got Contra, but I think the original is better. Also, I'm digging Girls, Deerhunter, and Phoenix.

A lot of Contra sounds like filler. The best ones on the album are "Horchata" and "Giving Up the Gun"

Six or so months ago, my family and I were traveling along an interstate. We had reached a one hundred-mile stretch of barren, rural countryside, and it started raining. I turned on The Disintegration Loops.

It was the best experience I've ever had with music.

Stop being weird, Yahoozy.

Do Make Say Think has been turning on my electric turntable lately. They are amazing. The mood they set is cool and recognizable.

I've been going through a Kings of Leon phase most recently. Hadn't listened to them in awhile, then I finally picked up Only By The Night and it's been playing ever since.

Justice is pretty sweet.

They're like an 80's version of Daft Punk that isn't overly disco.

"Does It Offend You, Yeah?" is another good 80's sounding group.
