We have our winners!

A few of you know what went down after the live reveal on Vent. Here are the full results!

A huge thanks, first, to all of you guys and girls who voted - all 116 of you. One hundred and sixteen!? That there just shattered last year's record, so you really need to take a step back and acknowledge how awesome you are. Mm, done? Now'd be a good time, then, to thank:

southpaw for getting the whole thing started, keeping it intact over this long three-odd month process of nominating/voting and making sure everyone on NUMA is in the know;

sidke for his fantastic work on the Dronies site which made counting votes a ridiculously easy process;

Skyline for helping with miscellaneous do-whats including, primarily, the nomination-counting;

Kablizzy for some moral support to get us started;

and of course LittleViking for helping with the site.

I have a revelation. LittleViking is my multi. Our combined totals give me the award.

I would like to thank my parents, Matt Grenia and Sarah Herrington, for their hard work and dedication. Without your support, I never could have taken this award.

I'd also like to thank Sidke and Studebacher Hoch, my longtime roommates. You guys let me bounce off ideas against you, and you even let me find somebody I could call friend.

I'd like to thank the academy, of course, and not Yanni because he totally robbed me of an award that I deserved totally.

I'd like to thank the voters, who, in spite of the tricky position they were in, chose me and my alterego over southpaw. That was a good move, that guy smells and is barely abrasive.

Great year, guys! I hope I make it a repeat!

Except the southpaw getting community recognition award and Yahoozy getting NReality map award I don't have a problem with the results.

Hmm, this is not what I expected.

Destiny's Relentless winning over Riobe's Mutual Agreement? Really not what I had predicted.

southpaw winning over Slappy? *Really* not what I had fucking predicted.

Ridiculous.

Woo! You guys are the best. <3

Also, it's interesting to note that despite all the multiple nominees, /nobody/ doubled up. Odd, but cool. Kinda like Mario Kart. Or something.

Thanks for another great year, Metanet!

This, with an added OMG I HAD TWO NOMS IN ONE CATEGORY.

Thanks to everyone who supported my maps, those who voted in the polls, and those who helped set everything up so we could have this glorious annual event!

Everything was pretty close this year!

Special congratulations to Nexx, Pheidi, and southpaw, who I thought really deserved their awards.

I only won one award, and placed third in Mapmaker of the Year.

Dronies are clearly broken.

It was either southpaw or sidke; Slappy didn't have a chance. I'm surprised southpaw won, I thought making an entire site and managing it would do it.
