Sick runs I can't believe this turned out to be almost half a second faster than Lim's route.

Also to anyone who wasn't in IRC today, namely xela, using the speedrun route on 74-2 for the ending in highscore is about 1 second faster than lim's current route.

There's a speed 0th up for grabs on 27-4 if someone could basically copy xela's demo but use lat's ending.

Recently started highscoring again, and I was fooling around on 76-0. Check out my cj when entering the middle level. Definitely would have been a 0th if I had done it with lookatthis/Lim/Xaelar's start. Probably can't do it again though...

So Xaelar - now go take that 0th ;-)

Have fun

I am glad to see you are back. We always want highscorers from the past to show up again.

Also I am glad to see you using NReality to highscore, However I have one question. A few of us have been working on this project. I was wondering if you still have your .sol from back in the day, with all of your current top-20s? If you do, could please go through and click submit on each episode and that would be a big help. If you do not have all of your top-20s on your .sol any more, submit the ones you can and tell me that there are some missing and I will upload them manually.

New innovation to Vankusss' 18-4.
Every time I get the 3 gold pieces in the start, I fail in the bottom left corner, so I just did the lower left corner with a "safe run", and ended up 1 sec behind.
So I don't really know if this would be faster in a perfect run - but there sure is a possibility.

Check out my run.

I saw that start myself when I was trying out van's route. I seem to recall concluding that its either not any faster, or actually a little slower in the end. I'll have to take another look now, since you think it has possibility. Probably will take me a couple days to get to it though :( Wednesdays are pretty packed for me and I got homework to start on tonight yet.

That route is definitely faster. Missing one gold (the one above the first double jump), I've gotten a 708 frame demo. Maybe you should take the 0th before I do :P

On 30-2 two cjs on the two bounceblocks, then go back quickly. I would've gotten about 10th had my .sol not been wiped before I subbed it =\. I hate school computers.

First of all Rhekatou, the first bbcj is impossible with that angle, and secondly, that route is slower than the current 0th's route.

All of those jumps are possible but the route is still slower even with a bbbwj on the way back.

6-4

This is a little innovation I came up with for my MBD, but it is proving hard to do. Which may mean it is too hard for real time; however I think it may be something easier to do real time than in code. I was able to do the demo real time. Now obviously the innovation is to land in the corner of the LP and get an angled bounce and clip the corner of the platform above you to get the three gold. You do not wj at the LP just bounce. The hard part is the rocket it may be possible to just go full speed and still make it under the rocket, but if not I think with a slight slide on the ground before you jump to the LP the rocket would be correctly time.

I don't think that 59-3 route is much faster. I got up to 100 with it.

EDIT: Trying it again...

EDIT 2: 3 or 4 trys after seeing van's post, improved by 1 second Ó_ò

This is a innov for the right side section of 37-3 that ska found while I was MBDing 37-3, but i couldn't include in my run because the drones interfered with it. However it could work for highscoring.

(ska asked me to post it, even though it's his innov :/)

47-3
Here are two different ways to get out of the center area after getting the three switches you need.

Ignore me being stupid at the end I was just trying to get the gauss to kill me. The innovation is just those 3 wjs instead of what xela does.

Or a corner jump route if you feel like it. But I think the wj route is faster.

If either of these are done I think you could beat the seeker drone at the end where xaelar wjs, you could just hit the corner of the tile and be pushed to the door instead of the wj. These two innovations together could save quite a bit.

Nice innov, ska, but van beat Lim without it. :P

60-4. If you get a clean run, you'll be able to beat the drone on the left (go over it) and continue as normal. Then, you jump onto the 6-tile and run to the exit. I'm sure you can save about .350 or more with both.

Simple enough in theory, maybe not in practice, but I am sure people have thought of it before, but I figured I would post it anyway, do a cj save a second.
