Although corner jumps are generally cool, especially half-tile cornerjumps, I still think bbbwj's (backwards bounceblock walljumps) and sideways bounceblock triple jumps are cool. They own.

But the most fun is probably the launchpad-bounceblock jump, as used in my 79-2 highscore. Or maybe the backwards bounceblock walljump.
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol
[16:30] <@golfkid> It looks so simple
[16:30] <@golfkid> But it says "NO! I will rape your sanity!"

On this note, who first figured out double bb jumping, if anyone? Was there ever a time when you guys were highscoring and you didn't know about that trick?George wrote:Corner kicks are pretty swell. But cool as they may be, I'd probably go for the double bounce block jumps. They're such a simple task, yet they completely revolutionized high scoring.

I joined the community in '06, way after most highscoring techniques had been innovated. Judging by the description in tktktk's map, Wedgie might've been the dude. He's part of the highscoring community since its infancy.flagmyidol wrote:On this note, who first figured out double bb jumping, if anyone? Thank you, Tunco. Yeah, I figured it had been well established by the time I joined. Interesting to know Wedgie's the guy.George wrote:I joined the community in '06, way after most highscoring techniques had been innovated. Also, the glitch to get the launchpad gold in this epigone map is one I had never seen before. Life247 does it. /Crazy/ stuff.

I would have to say reverse corner kicks.
