Keys No Working on Ubuntu

Ooooold topic, but my problem is the same, and i can't find a solution in the forum.
Same situation: Keys works on configure screen, but ingame don't. Running the exe from the terminal, no output generated indicating some warning or info.
System: Fedora 12 gnome 32bit in a laptop.
