Never seen anything like it before. When you said on irc that you had glitched through a sideways facing oneway i thought it was during a chimney (watch 190-4 speed), but when I saw it I was like O_O.
I think van has the best theory for all these one way glitches so far.

Heh, strange. Like that glitch where you pass through a horizontal oneway when you fall a specific distance (I made a map with this glitch here if you want to see it). I presume this works the same way..?
EDIT: Ha, I found it. You have to move a certain amount of pixels at a VERY exact speed, and you'll go through. Or it may just be your speed. And this had to be done while in the air.

QFE, also there is a krusch map that exists that must've had a - snapped one-way so that you fell through it every time you came off the ledge. Admittedly, i can't clearly recall this happening on a vertical one-way... but yeah, it doesn't really surprise me...BluePretzel wrote:Heh, strange. There have been a few different maps which use the horizontal version of this glitch. It is much easier to regulate the speed some is going on when they fall onto a horizontal oneway than the speed they hit a vertical oneway, so it would be impressive if you can use this well in a map.

I found a map where this can be done pretty consistently, 204379, just watch the demos on NReality.

On my episode demo for 148. Not the level demo, but the episode demo, on 148-1, I managed to just jump through a horizontal oneway, No wall jump, no gold lag, I just jumped through it. Also in 177904, there is the opposite glitch.

stonedeagle: that looks like gold delay to me. The gold doesn't have to be on the one-way to delay you through it. In fact, I'm pretty sure it can happen from gold placed half a tile away from the one-way.
Cool glitch, anyhow!
