I really liked it. It's like a Brandon Flowers meets the Nationals meets... I don't know. Somebody with Dave Grohl's vocal power, at times. Really good.

And yeah, that is a nice way to put it. I feel like some bits reminded me of The Postal Service too - specifically the synth stuff, but the way it all meshes together is nice. But yeah, glad you like it.

EDIT: What was your thoughts on Brandon Flower's solo album by the way?

It's not an amazing album - not much else to say. Day & Age is better than it. However, I did enjoy "Jilted Lovers and Broken Hearts" and "Only the Young" (and maybe "Magdalena").

Don't give me none of that only-judge-albums thang.
