I can understand your distaste for crap like Crank or Transporter, but Snatch and Lock Stock are both among my favorite movies, particularly because I thought Jason Statham was excellent in them.
Including all of those movies where he does that thing he calls acting. Snatch and Lock Stock managed to be good despite him.

Because Snatch had both. Forgive me for having standards.

In both, Jason Statham played the role of (more or less) a black market dealer. Jason Statham, personally, before his acting career, spent time as a black market dealer. I don't think you can really get more authentic than that. If your expectations for those characters are different from the way they were portrayed, I think the problem's on your end.

I always found this argument amusing before I saw Breaking Bad.

There's that part of it for sure but mostly I just never knew that Bryan Cranston could act until I saw him acting his balls off in that show. The scene where Jane chokes to death on her own vomit as Walt watches is one of the most gut-wrenching television moments I've ever seen.

Rob Schneider. He's just annoying. The fake death in Judge Dredd was so satisfying to see. I wish it would have actually happened. BUT, more annoying than anyone else would have to be ... PAULY SHORE! No explanation required. If you've seen his "comedies", you'd know why.

I've loved almost every single thing Shatner has ever done. From Star Trek to Has Been to Boston Legal. His latest TV sitcom is pretty weak sauce but as the man himself says on his album "has been implies failure / not so / has been's history".

I'm surprised that no one has said Robert Pattinson. I'm not hating on him because he was in a really horrible movie, I'm hating on him because, aside from Diggory, which was decent, every performance of his has been terrible.

But I agree with the majority of the people here; Ben Stiller is eh, but when he's funny, he's really funny. Will Ferrell's only good movie (that I have seen, anyway) is Stranger Than Fiction, and, when I want to have something to bitch about, Talladega Nights.

Jason Statham was good in Transporter. I haven't seen the first one in a while, but I have the second somewhere around here. Even though I didn't like it much, I liked him in The Expendables as well. I didn't know he used to be a black market dealer. That's really quite bitchin'. Now I can see why he has the ability to kill a man with his thumb.

John Travolta is the reason why I dislike Pulp Fiction more than Reservoir Dogs. It might have something to do with Steve Buscemi as well.

Oh, you did not just talk down about Steve "The Man" Buscemi.

Since Buscemi is only in Reservoir Dogs, I posit that he was indeed praising Buscemi.

I will admit that I loved his character in Pulp Fiction and Grease, but I just don't like him that much after seeing the Pelham 123 remake.
