I downloaded the newest version from your site, I assume there is everything needed? There already is NReality_v6g2.exe.Unreality wrote:have you copied the 6g2.swf to the folder too?
have you tried restarting the exe?
I tried multiple times :).

I'm just reporting that it works now. The problem was probably with my laptop running on battery and having some shit performance. Sorry I didn't figure that out back then :/Unreality wrote:are you using the NRealityIRC6g2.exe ? is there NReality_v6g2.swf in your folder?
I've got the new version, and here's my thoughts based on what I said before. Still love being able to have chat, and I think the best difference is moving it over to the side. Now we can see what we type :Dgolf wrote:Woo chat! Got a couple things to be worked out before I think it'll be enough for me to really want to use though. I don't mind the small entry area, just makes talking a little bit of an adventure :) I would like (1)to be able to use the demo replay and enter NUMA maps to play, and also (2)have the chat entry inputs separate from in-game inputs, so that typing in chat doesn't pause/unpause the game, or potentially suicide you.
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol
[16:30] <@golfkid> It looks so simple
[16:30] <@golfkid> But it says "NO! I will rape your sanity!"
Yeah this glitch came about in v6e, which Unreality only released to a few of us who happen to be in IRC one day. I noticed this when I was trying to MDB. Maybe it has something to do with display state because that was the only change in v6e as far as i know, but I doubt that would have anything to do with it.ska wrote:I found a bug in 6g2 where in NED, every time I try and click off the level or demo data box, the text cursor won't disappear which makes mapping really annoying because it keeps making NaNs. Anyone else found this? I wasn't using the one with IRC either, so that doesn't seem to be the problem, although I'm guessing this build retained the cursor from the IRC addon which is probably what's screwing it up. I guess it's the same with the IRC version. 6g did not have this as far as I can recall.
I have a same problem. n.infunity.com/ doesn´t work too...Miststalker06 wrote:6g2 doesn't work with foreground images. Just a heads up! It doesn't even load the foreground image.
I think it works perfectly if you use the normal app without IRC chat. Using the version with IRC integrated the images doesn't load, but you have in the same folder the version without it. Just use the normal one without IRC, it runs frankly smoothly.Ors wrote:I have a same problem. n.infunity.com/ doesn´t work too...Miststalker06 wrote:6g2 doesn't work with foreground images. I usually solve this problem (when mapping at Ned in NReality) by clicking in the text box for the demo. You can reload your objects and everything else and continue mapping without any NaN'd objects appear.TheRealOne wrote:Yeah this glitch came about in v6e, which Unreality only released to a few of us who happen to be in IRC one day. But yes I agree this glitch is very aggravating. The cursor needs to leave both the level and demo box when clicking on the background.
This is hilarious.MiBeM wrote:Exactly.Izzy wrote:Under the time bar at the top left?MiBeM (back in 2010) wrote:Speedrun mode needs some kind of a frame counter.
