This week the community took 17 new 0ths with 4 0ths changing hands multiple times. The community improved the total level score by 4.300 seconds and the total episode score by 3.200 seconds. Most of the 0ths taken were by sheer cleanliness. However, a couple of players came up with brilliant innovations and route changes for some big improvements.

vankusss (-6) took two 0ths and lost eight this week. Most of the losses were to, or because of Kool. One 0th van managed to take this week was 00-0. He took it form Kool, who had just taken it last week, by three frames. The other was 00-1 by two frames from Kool, who had just taken it from van himself.

xaelar (-4) did not play this week again :( and suffered a 4 0th loss. Those four 0ths were lost to four different players. One to Raif, one to Kool, one to swipenet, and one more to Eddy. Where are you xaelar? We miss you buddy.

Mr_Lim (-2) lost two 0ths this week. The once giant and down to 27 0ths remaining. It seems as though he is heading the way the giants before him have already gone. Occupy Lim!

lookatthis (-1) lost another 0th this week and has been cut down to five 0ths. He now sits in 13th and two 0ths from being knocked off the boards.

ToeFaceKiller (-1) didn't play this week and lost a 0th. We miss you too buddy.

eru_bahagon (-1) lost a 0th to glib's innovative prowess this week. It seems as though he didn't have time to play because he was making nHigh the most awesome thing ever. Thanks man! This is how we repay you... by taking your 0ths =P

ska (+0) didn't gain any 0ths this week but he did improve two of his own 0ths. He improved his episode 09 0th by one frame over a second and in that Ep run he improved his -4 0th by four frames. With his improvement on Ep09 he makes it the fastest episode on boards currently. The episode now has a difference from the level score of only 0.425 seconds. Also in that Ep run he improved his -3 quite a bit, but he is still 0.275 seconds away from taking it and claiming episode ownage.

Raif (+0) took 81-2 from TFK by a frame breaking up a 4-way tie for 0th. In one simple frame Raif caused TFK, xaelar, van, and swipe all to lose a 0th each. However, Raif's triumph was short lived because Kool quickly took the 0th by yet another frame.

swipenet (+0) took one 0th this week, but also lost his tied 0th on 81-2 for a net of 0. The 0th he did manage to take was xaelar's 07-3 and he took it by three frames.

glib_jase (+1) had the best route change this week, taking 62-3 from eru by 1.200 seconds. glib's brilliant innovation was to add a corner jump in the bottom left to get up to the center gold much faster. This was a show of true talent by glib on this run because the current route already demanded two corner jump and glib decided to ad another. This 0th paid off for glib because it bumped him back up to 4 total 0ths and put him back in to the 0th rankings.

999_Spring (+1) managed to squeak a frame under Eddy on 89-1. After falling a frame or two short of Eddy a dozen or so times previously, 999 was finally able to grab that frame and claim the 0th all for him self. This 0th put 999 at 4 0ths, but of course as eternally unlucky as he is, glib also gained his 4th 0th just before and maxed on the top-20 0th holders at a minimum of 4. So 999 is now tied for 19th and hopefully will make is return to the rankings by next week.

Eddy (+2) took four 0ths this week and lost two for a net of +2. For starters Eddy took Ep15 back from vankusss after their week long battle last week. He was only able to improve by seven frames, but nevertheless the 0th remains his. Then Eddy grabbed a frame on 28-0 taking the 0th from van, but only to lose it to Kool soon thereafter. Next Eddy took 65-3 from xaelar by three frames. However, more note worthy xaelar has previously tied L3X and this means that Eddy has deL3Xed the level and another cheated run bites the bust. Finally Eddy took the 0th on what is arguably the most hated level in the game; 83-3. Eddy took 83-3 from Lim by 0.650 seconds in a stunning show of ninja-man-ship. This was certainly one of Lim's most impressive 0ths and it has now been taken down by over half a second. Away from the 0ths Eddy took two more top-20s on levels 89-4 and 91-0 meaning that he now has 499/500 level top-20s. Since 59-0 is impossible to gain a top-20 on Eddy has maxed out his level top-20s. So a big congratulations to him!

Kool (+8) lost only one 0th and took nine this week for the best highscoring week this player has ever had. To start Kool took 12-0 from lat just after I published last week's rankings. He took the 0th by 0.275 second and seems to be very close to max since you have to wait for the drone near the end. Kool also did a cleaning job on van's 30-0, were he took the 0th by five frames. And on 28-0 where he took the 0th from eddy by three frames and then improved for two more frames. Kool's final little cleaning level was 81-2 where he took another 0th that had just been taken. He took the 0th from Raif by a frame and is now only four frames short of Raif's MDB run. Kool laid down a fantastic innovation on 06-1 where he took the 0th from van by 0.575 seconds. By beating van by that much with an awesome CK at the very end of the level he also took down Bonzai and a second cheated run bites the dust this week. Finally we have Kool crusade to ownage on Ep00. Early in the week he lost 00-0 to van by three frames, but immediately came right back with three more frames to secure his 0th to the end of the week. On 00-1 he took the 0th from van with a good run, but had a very poor ending. van took advantage of the poor ending and retook the 0th by two frames. Kool soon improved with a very clean run taking the 0th by another eight frames. Next up was 00-2 and after a few days of coming close and even tying Lim, Kool finally got a clean run the whole way through and took the 0th from Lim by ten frames. And for his final 0th of the week Kool took 00-3 from xaelar with a 0.300 second improvement. What is shocking is that he was able to improve that much while wasting upwards of .200 in the end where he messed up the final gold collection. I suspect we will see a 120+ run on that map soon. With this eight 0th gain this week Kool rockets past three players and now sits in 6th on the 0th rankings.

oh I'll deifinitely be here for a while. As I claimed in #n-highscores, Kool's 2012 goal is to take 100 metanet hs 0ths by the end of this year :D 1/5 there and improving

Glib_jase, I hate you. In fact, I was actually aware of this, but ToeFaceKiller doesn't have 90-3 on my NHigh because I can't remember/be bothered to add half of the names above him, creating a sort of illusion where I was convinced I was on the rankings. And Eddy nicked it back so if I'm going to get on the rankings with a single 0th I'm going to have to be selective about which one.

P.S. I don't get what TheRealOne means about making a return to the rankings because I've never been on any 0th or top20 rankings ever. And I don't think he's aware of the fact that he's in apparent denial of the lower half of the players for total episode score.

And finally, a note for EddyMataGallos:

Also I see now that the total score rankings are off. I did the first 30 players on the top-20 rankings, however there are players like LouDog004 who has very little top-20 scores, but he is ranked 11th I think on the episode score rankings. So I guess for the next one I will just have to run all 100 players on the top-20 list to get correct rankings. I was just hoping I didn't have to do that because it takes like 10 minutes to run all of those players.

Don't think so (else I'd have remembered it), I'll look back through old posts to be sure. I did hijack the rankings 2 years ago when I got one 0th for the first time ever; I think that's it.

Still wouldn't work. I edited the wikia for total level/episode score on the 30th (naturally coinciding with the day I got on there) and the list I use to work it out is an amalgamation of the NReality total level/episode score top20 with the NHigh top100. As you can see, sayko has 0 metanet top20s and is 17th on total episode score, and poppinfresh is 16th and he has 1 metanet top20 and it's a 19th.

The Total Ep Score Rankings is really weak. I mean, doing a top 20 is irrelevant. I'd be in that just by beating the game with not so shitty runs.
I suggest that you do just a top 10 on that rankings. 32k is decent. Or at least consider only 30k + players.

PS : if you want to add a specific player to the rankings (like one who doesn't have any top 20), you can do it by using the Total Score function on that player. Then, it will automatically added to the rankings.
Like, if you look at Onuro's total score (11th on ep rankings), then Total Score Rankings on top 20 players, you'll actually have 21 names in the rankings because the program considers all players it has a score for. And it has a score for Onuro as you requested it.

Onuro should actually be 18th (sorry 999_Springs^^) in Total lvl score rankings because he has 30756 total ep score which is 66756 lvl score. At least !
But glitches came here too.

This week the community had a solid week taking 12 level 0ths and 2 episode 0ths. The total level score was improved by 2.425 seconds and the total episode score was improved by 1.800 seconds.

Seifer (-2) lost his 29-0 where he was tied with kryX to Raif this week. He also lost his tied 0th with Gforce on 16-1. A rare sight to see Seifer losing a 0th considering how polished his 0ths are.

Eru (-2) took one 0th this week and lost three. The one 0th Eru was able to take this week was 40-0 after an innovation and route change by glib and van ska. He capitalized on the innovation and nabbed the 0th.

xaelar (-1) lost Ep00 to golfkid this week and did not take any 0ths.

Gforce20 (-1) lost his only remaining 0th, 16-1, this week to Raif. He is no longer on any of the rankings and thus I tip my cap to an old highscorer who, today, falls off the boards.

Mr_Lim (-1) lost 28-3 to Kool's innovation this week.

van (-1) or better yet his alter ego, van_come_to_irc, lost one 0th, 40-0, this week to a route change and innovation.

TGM (-1) lost one of his three remaining 0ths, 51-2, this week to Eddy.

Hendor (-1) lost his last remaining non-tied 0th, 93-1, this week to golfkid. Hopefully Hendor sees this and decides to make a return to the boards and throw down to great runs.

999_Springs(+0) lost one 0th and took one this week for a net of 0. However, the 0th he took was from Darkshadow who was, like 999, tied for the last rank with 4 0ths. This move by Springs FINALLY gets on the 0th rankings. So a huge congratulations to him and someone start the clock until his luck runs out and xaelar comes back and takes all of his 0ths. Just kidding. Set your sights on a few more Springs and you'll secure your self on to the boards for sure.

Kool (+2) took four 0ths this week, and tied one, but since most of them were his to begin with he only netted two 0ths. Kool improved his 00-3 to one frame shy of 120 seconds. With all of his effort on Ep00 he only needs -4 and the episode for owange on both Highscore mode and Speedrun. To my knowledge this would be the first time in history that this has happened. Next up he continued a battle from last week and took 28-0 back from Eddy who just previously this week come up with an innovation and edged him out by a frame. Kool's latest run pushes the map over the next second and in to the sub-800 frame range. Finally, where Kool went positive, he took 28-3 from Lim at first by three frames and then by eight more. He was able to do this by innovating the bottom left corner of the map by hitting the ceiling to get pushed down to the exit faster. The 0th he tied was Raif on 16-1. He had several attempts where he was a frame ahead but couldn't complete a full run by the end of the week and had to settle for a tie.

golfkid (+2) took two 0ths this week and was not challenged on any of his own. His first 0th was the much coveted 0th of Ep00. After three separate tries and several erroneous speed-detection freezes he was able to lay down a great run and take down xaelar by seven frames. Now he will have to watch out of Kool if/when he goes for episode ownage. Golf's second 0th was Hendor's last, Golf took down 93-1 with a solid run overall and a fantastic RCJ that rocketed him past Hendor in a double digit frame swing with one move.

Raif (+2) took two new 0ths and improved one of his own this week. Raif began by taking down Gforce on 16-1 by a frame. Gforce's run was one of the older 0ths on the board. He then manged to take 29-0 from Seifer and thus making kryX bite the dust by two frames. More impressive was that he is actually ahead of his MBD in the beginning of the run so it leaves some room for another player to edge in, but they will need a truly perfect run. Finally Raif improved his 6-4 by 4 frames to wash the boards of his previous nick.

Eddy (+5) took six 0ths and lost only one to be this week's biggest gainer. In level order, Eddy took 15-1 from Eru by a frame shy of half a second with a very simple innovation. Eddy decided to not hesitate on the 8-tile in the lower right of the map and that simple move gave him the huge lead he ended the level with. Next was 28-0 where Eddy found a way to jump up the slope on the lower left and land all the way on to the deck with the gold. This saved several frames but due his run being slower than Kool's for the ending he was only able to get a frame lead on Kool. This consequently was the only 0th Eddy lost this week. Kool came right back using the same innovation, but with a cleaner ending and took the 0th back by three frames. On 40-0 Eddy watched as the innovation was developed by ska and eventually implemented by Eru. Seeing an opportunity Eddy laid down a fantastic run and took the newly acquired 0th from Eru by exactly half a second. His next 0th was 51-2 where he used Ska's innovation to take down TGM and one of the older runs on the boards. He beat TGM by two frames, but more than that he put another 0th on to the NReality boards. In the second episode 0th this week Eddy took Ep51 from Eru, who lost all three of 0ths he lost this week to Eddy, by 1.625 seconds. Eddy has had trouble with this episode for a few weeks now with it not being able to be submitted to the Metanet highscore database. I guess it only took him 0thing it for it to be allowed on the database. And finally Eddy took back 89-1 from 999, who last week took it from him.

WOOOOOOO FINALLY!!! Thanks for putting up the rankings TheRealOne. Possibly the best day of my N career. I can't remember how long I lingered one or two 0ths behind the boards for. Must have been ages. By the way, I improved 96-1 by another 11 frames while you were posting; it can still be faster because I slowed down a little bit at the end to pick up a gold that I missed at the start of the run, but now I don't really care.

I think I'm going to have to cut down on N for the rest of this term at least though. Seriously. I just don't get enough time in the day to play at a sustainable rate anymore.

edit: I just reached 100 metanet top20s. I might try getting on those rankings too.

On the same note, should Kool get credit for 16-1 for his tie with Raif? Secondly, I surprisingly did not have any speed detection freezes (which btw, is a much better way of describing them than anything else I could come up with) while doing ep 00. Coincidentally, I did have one less than 5 minutes after taking 93-1 but that surely doesn't need mentioned.

Other than that, glib didn't innovate anything, van did a new ending when he took the 0th a while back. I modified the ending, like in summer 07 (or Pablo228 did, we were fighting on that level, he did the no-cj route with the easy jump between the thwumps) . I'm pretty convinced it is actually faster. Eddy came and destroyed my run.

heh, the way I read it, both TRO and van are winding you up! It's a cool innovation ska, in fact it's one of those where you wonder why everyone was doing it the other way in the first place.
