The faster first corner kick was effing hard. My corner kick on the way back was slow, though.
I did get the faster corner kick on the way back in another run where I missed the first corner kick.
Anyone want to try getting both in one run? :P
(See my MBD or jg9000's run for an example of a faster corner on the way back.)

WOW nice. I didn't know it was to possible to get the first fast corner jump without missing a gold.

As for the clip, i do think you lost a frame there. You jumped 2 frames earlier than Seifer, but then only got a frame advantage because of the clip.

Since Seifer jumps one frame late (he was faster than spect till the jump Edit: Now after watching it again I think this may not be the case :/), I probably did not loose a frame.

@Raif : Eddy is right. You just don't have enough top 20. I had to put a threshold, otherwise you have a ton (like 20) people with 1-2 good scores with 19+ average. Which make the rankings useless and irrelevant.
The threshold is 20.

@van : Yeah. And nice 28-0, your route is probably faster, again. (it seems less clean than kool's run)

That actually seems legit. But according to that, you were probably drunk while writing it, thus making the whole theory questionable.

I am still amazed by the number of route changes you've made. And a lot I didn't notice or remember, like 47-0, probably 47-2 too. I should thank you for all the seconds I saved on these levels (recently 68-4, 30-3 and 64-4).

Glad I could help (I was surprised nobody did 64-4, well done on reducing my lead (SARCASM)), though 68-4 bottom is from eddy. I have no list :/

The thing with innovations is they mostly stem from standing on the shoulders of giants. For those who are unfamiliar with this metaphor, it basically means, progress over time sees many different people improve the efficiency of tasks/machines/algorithms etc. I guess the point I'm trying to make is with something as abstract as innovations, where do we draw the line? Is it based on time saved, the difficulty of the innovation itself, the reliability on random events (see 91-4). I wouldn't go as far as saying that all innovations are unquantifiable, I'm saying that 99% of the time, one player's route change, gold collection, or corner jump may become obsolete due to the evolution of highscoring on such a level, and may not have even been discovered in the first place if it hadn't been for the highscorers who set the yardstick. I'm probably reading way to into this, and I'm certainly not taking anything away from van's innovations or anyone else's, including my own. It's just important to consider that players such as trib4l and Johnny were only good as the 'innovations' at the time allowed them to be. (Try competing against some of JF's older runs using his outdated routes and you'll see what I mean...)

Yeah, I agree with you, and what Kool said earlier about wanting to play with j_f and trib4l during their prime. I remember when I took 27-2 from johnny with his old route, and it took me an ungodly amount of tries to get just the right corner kick along with not missing any gold. Any of his 0ths were difficult to beat without any changes to the route.

Also with that improved, my worst score on the boards is now a 3rd on 1-1. average points boost, woo :)

I don't really understand what you were trying to say, ska. Sure, their routes didn't include cj's and stuff, but after the very few levels in which cj's were used for the first time, 99% of the current routes would be possible after that (in terms of tricks known). The biggest problem is that Lim got such reputation, that most people will just use his route because they don't think it's possible that he could have missed something.
