Yeah you are quite right. I didn't think about that drone. There may be something, but I don't see what. You will need more than that WJ to beat the cycle.

I think you are also right about the switch I can't get it from underneath.

Also you are almost half way done with the episode top-20s, soon to be 599/600. =P Pretty crazy.

I dont think you could reach the switch chamber before that drone comes out of the tunnel,t hat seems much to save (but maybe there's another way to deal with the drone after my demo.

Yeah I have that noted. I need to do the rankings. I might do them right now. I wont have a write up for this one because I went on vacation and have been swamped with school work so I don't really know who took what with what innovations and the order of new 0ths and everything, but I can at least get the rankings up.

That is a solid collection there. A nice surpirse attack on the boards. 34-2 is absolutely stunning. I can't believe you took down L3X. You could have actually beaten him by more, but you lost a bit of time after at the exit switch and on the fall. Very impressive.

Ok... So... 75-1is awesome, but 69-0... Holy shit. You made Lim look terrible. That is no small feat. That was one of his better runs too and you just crushed it. He was even ahead to begin with, but your ending was so well done you destroyed him. How many tries did it take to get the RCJ at the end?

Thanks for the feedback TRO :D That particular RCJ is quite easy actually because you dont have to aim at the corner, but just jump to the ceiling and you're automatically directed to it, so you just got to time the jump. My rate would be like 1/2 or so (just this particular one).

edit: new 0ths today: 23-1, Ep26, 30-1 & 25-0 :D and improved my 26-4 ;)
btw, 0th spot in Top20 rankings claimed ;)

Eddy, congrats on the 599! Yes it has been done before, but I believe that Lim was the last to acheive that number so it hasn't been done in a long time.

Actually he just reached 598, as Hendor did, because that was previously thought to be the limit (59-0 and 92-4 were thought to be maxed) thats why I think it hadnt been achieved before ;) What do you think about the 0ths?

The 0ths are pretty sweet, just finished watching all of them. The ending on 36-0 is really impressive, I'm always amazed when a drone doesn't track on a path like that. I was also very surprised to see you got to 599 since I looked just a few hours ago and you still had 6 of the hardest episodes left according to NHigh. I guess with the internet situation you have that you didn't necessarily do all of them in as little time as I thought, but still an impressive feat to me. Next goal: 0th on total level and episode scores :)

Haha thanks ;), Im working in the 0th boards now, then Ill take a shot at the total score (just episodes, xelas total level score is unbeatable o.O)(Forgot to thank you in my first post sorry :P) Thanks to this trip through all episodes my total episode score grew to 34363.525, dunno how high that is on the rankings ;)

Where the fuck are you coming up with these runs. They are all blisteringly fast. None of them are barely squeaked out, they are all taken handedly. You actually may be able to clinch 0th on total 0ths rankings, Level 0th rankings, episode 0th rankings, top-20 rankings, Total episode score, and I think you could get total level score. that is truly xaelar's greatest feat. Only have 80 something levels over 1 second from the 0th, but I think it is beatable and I think you can do it. Maybe it will get him to come back here =P

haha... I don't understand how you can have 99.83% of all top 20 scores, yet still feel that xaelar's total level score is 'unbeatable'...

I thought Brett_Sully_ had 600 top-20s back in 2005, but at any rate, I don't think this many top-20s have been held in 7 years...

@EMG : Congrats for 599, and all these cool 0ths. 36-0 is crazy. I enjoy 5-4 too.

About TLS, you can use player's comparison in nhigh with xaelar to see where you are losing time, and also look at your "worst level".
He has 315 better scores than you, including 27 with more than 3 seconds lead. So work on that =)
And looking at your worst level, you clearly have levels with easy seconds to gain : like 30 levels above 4 seconds diff.
As a comparison, I have only 18 level at 4+ sec, and we have the same threshold for the 100 worst level : 1.850 sec, which means that it is actually a lot more difficult for me to improve TLS, in the sense I'd have to play more levels to save the time.
In your case, just getting good runs on your worst 30 level will make you pass xaelar on TLS.

I suppose he does have a 0th there, but we don't really count it as a top-20. Pretty much for the same reason we don't count a score tied with 19th as a top-20. You are not in the top-20 people on the board.

That said a lot of people should have a 0th for being tied with 59-0, but I don't want to have to manually add all of the 0ths to people totals every time I do the rankings. Frankly I wish M&R would just delete that map and put in another because it is a stupid map and no map should be that easy to max.

So basically if you are in the top-20 on 59-0 you get both a 0th and a top-20 score, otherwise you get nothing. It isn't exactly the most fair system, but its just what we do. I think we all know that had Eddy been around when the board was filling up he could have certainly gotten on it. We all could have. That is has to be THE easiest 0th to tie on the boards. There are 30 extra people who have 84.700 on NReality in Highscore mode, never mind the people who have it on speedrun and underclock. Plus there is all of the people who tied after the board filled up, but before NReality came out and thus they are lost forever.

Interesting how orthodox your runs are.. you're like the 2nd coming of johnny_faneca imo.. just cleaning minor imperfections and making bank with incredible cleanliness and skill. (Obviously, your level of skill is comparatively much higher, but I digress...)
