Thanks. I believe I once had top spot for levels 0, 1 and 4 as well, although probably never all 5+ep simultaneously. With maestros like yourself and mr. "Blow Wolfos out of his favourite water" here arriving on the scene and time becoming more limited, it became kind of a retirement home ;-)

Took 89-0, managed to tie spect (dunno if his run is cheated or not, I know he talked about it on the old forums but who knows if he was being sarcastic or not) couldn't get near crappitrash, I need a 121027 repeat to beat his run lol

I honestly believe spect's run was legitimate. If you saw any of his videos playing the piano, it's hardly surprising. I remember the sequence of events too, where crappitrash had the 0th, spect took it back, the crapps retook it, which prompted spect to just call out crapp's run and didn't bother to compete with a cheater. RIP.

Wow Kool. You stomped that run. I do recall the drama surrounding his run. I am not sure if it is legit or not, but either I think crappi's run is beatable, even with out the perfect chimney, but you will need to come close. You had a better corner shove and a better ending than he did, so even if you pull off a 95% chimney with a perfect start and CS, you could take him down. Also if you watch the way Raif does the ending you can see how to save a few extra frames on the thwump, but I don't know how perfect of an angle you need.

A very nice run there by swipe. I agree that seems obvious to me now. I am surprised it took so long.

For the SR on that level. I would think it is possible to get an RCJ on the bottom left E tile after the exit switch and get over the right mine above it rather and going over the left one to the 1 tile, eliminating another wasted jump on this map.

Basically after that, is one of the biggest leads ever. Van himself has owned the biggest leads after this actually, haha hes crazy.
But as I said, having that lead nowadays is way more of an achievement than it was to get those leads 6 years ago.

(I know I could have pasted less Lim scores, its just I was amazed when I saw this and wanted to share).

Thanks, a bit of amazing history is always cool. Since that Lim era, I think van has owned the era of huge differences. Just for the record, Im going to search some of them:
Sept/2010:

Feb/2011:

Nov/2011:

Dec/2011:

To those we have to include 46-4, which was a 4.875 lead and probably his biggest ever, but I dont have any file proving that.
Another note: 61-2 was a 4.025, but ska lowered it and I don't have any file proving it.
So this would be his 3rd lead over 4+ secs, unless Im missing one, which is possible, and his 2nd biggest ever. Impressive.

On all those files, xela was shortly after van scores, almost reaching 2 secs on a lot of ocassions.

I can't believe you guys are forgetting two of the most memorable 0th leads: both by lat in 96-4 (over 10 seconds iirc) and 84-0 (this one was around 9 seconds I think.) Both of those were definitely after the Lim era, but before van got his huge leads.

Before I forget, that was an amazing run on 69-4 van. Congrats!

I didnt source any info from the Wiki ska, I would have gived credit if so. I was just bored enough to check a couple NHigh files per month since december 2009 to look for van's biggest leads. Though I now see I could have checked the Wiki instead haha.

As for lat huge leads, I didnt forget them. Do not consider my pics as lists of biggest leads ever, that was not the point, as I would be missing heaps. I just wanted to show how after 2008, van had been in fact the biggest leader, but earlier there had been higher ones. Unfortunately I didn't have any file showing lats huge leads.

On another note though, a list of biggest leads would indeed be pretty cool.

Took 61-2 with a route change, can be cleaned up to 182, but I was too lazy to improve my run. Also took 61-4.
