sick innov on 169-1 sr, it consists of triggering that first drone (so you can fall on the right side of the map) by hitting your head on the circle at an angle to give you more horizontal speed.

The angle to get from the left WJ under the hemisphere, get the correct landing for a jump to go under yet another sphere and make it over the top most sphere flawlessly, what?!

How many times did you smack your head on the way up or land on the the back side of the top sphere and ruin a run?

No doubt a ridiculous achievement to knock 20 frames off a sub-300 frame level.

Thanks TRO and ska :). To answer your question tro, too many times but once I got the method (letting go of jump a frame or two before, also letting go of jump before the semi-circle) I improved from 266 -> 264 -> 260 -> then finally 257.

76-2 taken (which was a bitch and a half, holding left at the start ended up being faster) and improved my 76-1 by a meager 3 frames, theres not much more I can do with that route with the drones blocking me at the end and all.

Edit: 78-1 taken as well, good level to practice cj's

thank yah sir ska's a lot, so yo check this. 31-1 taken, spent a couple hours on this one I know that seems outrageous for only slicing it by one frame. but I tried many different directional variations (always ending up with 180 at best) until I found that if you hold right at the start and hit jump a frame after you hit the ground (I found that if you hit jump when you hit the floor, i.e. van's run, you end up either dying or not hitting the thwump at the right angle) then you end up with 179. Also tried a tk but couldn't manage to land on the platform before the door and the few times I did I barely landed on it and it slowed me down before the door.

Nice run there golf. That is a tight map so 9 frames is a pretty solid lead.

@Kool 31-1 is nice. I do not think that the Thwump Kick would end up being faster. I just don't think the angle you want can be achieved. Also I hadn't seen your edit for the 78-1 0th, that is a killer run you kept is super clean throughout. That many CJs in a row is just absurd.

Those are some sick runs Kool, glad to see you keep the sr activity alive. Ill try to give some comp on that 78-1 when I find some more free time (exams end in a week).
And great 0th golf, harder than it seems because those drones are a bitch haha.

Actually I did make the change in 78-1 sr TRO, although Kool sure cleaned the ending pretty well.

Thanks guys, I initially only had xela by 2 frames, but looked at the ghost and saw that he had me beat at the start and I pulled away after the switch. I really just wanted to get a little bit more distance, and was definitely not expecting such a big jump :)

nicely done golf, clean ldck's. The only thing I see is maybe directly wj'ing after the 2nd ck where the exit switch is instead of landing on top then falling.

Also 42-0 & 44-1 taken. Idk if anyone noticed, but dark snagged 42-0 with an innov. I just cleaned it up a bit, but props to him for the route change.

Wow you guys have pulled off some awesome runs recently, and that 79-0 is killer macro.
I've started playing a bit again, even though I shouldnt be with the amount of work I have.
I've taken a few 0ths but nothing notable (i.e no metanet levels)

101-1, 104-2, 124-0sr (taken by kool), 124-4sr, 126-4sr, 127-0sr

(also I warm up by taking peoples numa runs, sorry ska :p)

I would disagree JP those are some notable runs there. 101-1 that innovation at the start is great and taking down xaelar's .0ths on 101-1 and 104-2 are no small feat. Those runs have stood for quite some time. Those SR 0ths are pretty outstanding as well. All of them include ingenious route changes and/or innovations. Great stuff man. Also for SR 0ths if they are either Metanet or NReality feel free to post them in the SR 0ths thread. The only reason we tend to keep NReality highscores separate from Metanet is just the level of competition. However; NReality levels and speedrun mode were released simultaneously so an NReality SR 0ths has been competed just as much as the Metanet ones. (or at least had the possibly of being so.)
