Utilised my original 1.4 route to take a7-2 by 596 frames.

P.S. Eddy (or whoever can help), how did you compare your run times? Did you just do it manually using frame conversion? (2.0 runs at 60 frames a second, right?)

Edit: It seems to check out... (about 2 or 3 frames faster than the 1.4 userlevels 0th) :)

Nice runs. Mine again ;) My 56-3 run is faster than the Metanet 1.4 0th, but its not as clean, so I guess the drone timing on this level is slightly different (the bottleneck dissapears earlier).

@ska: Yeah I did it manually. Though I had to see Msyjsm's run as well to see the real time in seconds, since the frames represent different things and you cant compare them directly :/ (unless you count the amount of gold pieces which is even worse haha).

Taken b9-4, and now have 600 top 10s. Not really that impressive as most maps don't even have 10 scores submitted, just thought I'd mention it.

I honestly don't think I'd be able to do that in 1.4 (ignoring 59-0), there are quite a few levels like 02-2 which I doubt I could even top-20, let alone top 10.

This should help you guys in the future:
20-3 is just awful. Very easy to beat.
40-0 is easy to replicate, just land the jump at the very top of the slope.
41-4 I am invincible!!! lol but seriously can someone put in the effort? ;)
44-3 can be improved in the last "dip" by doing a wall jump (very close to the mine, but achievable).
97-2 has that crappy middle section.
That's all I can think of right now... go to work! :)

Hey great runs there dan! All taken, except for 40-0 which I just tied (maxed? - the way that level works is so random). Mad props for that 41-4 route, I tried to develop my own route but ended up having to check yours out because mines were always slower haha. As for 44-3, you could do a wj on every section, although it would be mad :P

Just as a cursiosity, I took these 0ths using the recently released full web version [http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html]. Interestingly enough, it seems to go flowier for me (might be because you have browser+N integrated, instead of having them separately). Thank god, because lately the lag was killing me :/ If you are experiencing lag I would suggest trying this one out.

EDIT: It goes more flowy in the sense that skippiness is reduced, but when theres a lot of drones then the true lag appears (and by true I mean, not skipping frames, but rather slowing down, making it unplayable).

Anyway, Ill contribute to the thread with a 1.4 run now that we are on topic. My 0th on this Meta&Raif map: 229612 - Waiting for some comp here.

Taken that 25-2 with a faster route back from the switch, the ending wasn't great so it shouldn't be hard to retake
That 29-4 is crazily quick, my chimneying is terrible so I'm not even going to attempt to take that :p

Good job on 25-2
The snipers on 29-2 make it difficult to come up with a consistent route, but I had a quick go at it.
The bottom row feels like it could be a lot quicker, but 11k+ is possible if you don't miss any gold with that route.

Haha thanks. Both 38-4 and 30-2 are based on the 1.4 routes. 30-2 is from my own actually, although I did it a frame faster than my 1.4 0th.

25-2 taken (prettu good route you developed guys). As for 29-4, no way haha, my chimneying is not good enough for that madness.
Also, the hell with the initial low jump, its so likely to happen at the beggining of 25-2. I really like this bug though, a new one which wasnt on 1.4, thats cool and can help you save time (check out my 27-0 ex-0th, I've been using that bug since there wasn't anyone else on those boards :P).

I wish 2.0 wouldn't lag on my PC. there are so many good levels. How do we feel about the highscoring system... I don't mind the point counter /that/ much but it's just time-consuming to play a level you want. For instance, to highscore b9-4

it takes 8 clicks from once you load N.

1: Click levels
2: click b-0
3: hit next... wait a couple of seconds...
4: hit next... wait a couple of seconds...
5: hit next... wait a couple of seconds...
6: hit next... wait a couple of seconds...
7: click b9-4
8: click play.

Surely there should be a more optimised way of getting around levels. I honestly thought 1.4 was pretty close to perfect. I know this has been brought up before, but they'll only want to change it if the highscorers put up enough of a fight.. I still am perplexed that you can't set new personal bests from within the game...

I see you took 41-3 too. That was the route I was trying to take, but I couldn't quite manage it...
The amount of times I'm in 1st (if Nv2 even has 0th) position on the scoreboards now is ridiculous :P

Very nice run, I'll have to see if I can come up with another way to use the corners, I don't think its possible to land between the mines at that speed.
