http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=30813 My god, it's damn near impossible accidentally. (name is: Apache...)
My original compsition included all of them rockets, but i said to myself, ' NO. That's too Hard! Only keep the MIDDLE a rocket, that'll be EASIER.' Still so hard.
EDIT: HOLYCRAPIACTUALLYBEATIT. You need a very precise jump for the second portion (middle area) to make the rocket go through the platforms.

Took "Walking on Thin Ice (Remake)" (Yoke300). Quite a tough experience to say the least.
I would say that it is 3 times more difficult than "QR Code III".
Lol. That first jump (actually second :D)... I was simply trying to copy Quintal and jp27ace's beginning, but for some reason I couldn't.
Well, I could but it was kinda inconsistent and with the same moves i started to get this beginning consistently. Odd. Same moves, different jumps.
I mean it's much easier to get the top score, when there is the top score. He designed the route and made a very good run without any motivation.
Also it reminded me the "golden age". The time when i competed with White Whale every day on many maps.

White Whale's run can't be referenced as shabby. It is so amazing, that I can't believe my own eyes.james_S wrote:yea.. its quite unusual that QR code map eh -crazy fast jumps. Congrats on the 0th :D but Whitewhale's run is not too shabby either, he just tripped up near the end

(bit unclear if u knew 'not too shabby' is just an expression) Where are you from? I was racing Whitewhale when he made that run actually.Inevitability wrote:Took "Walking on Thin Ice (Remake)" (Yoke300). Quite a tough experience to say the least.

That level is in my top 10 of All-metanet level maps. Because of that level, it inspired me to make this a while ago (in my top 5 of mine made): http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=21053james_S wrote:yea I like that map a lot, its about time someone used big diagonal squares like in that awesome metanet level 40-0

What do you mean 'unlocked' them? Also, sure I can do that (although i prefer undersampling more).james_S wrote:cool Maxwell maybe you can make a remake of that 80-3 Cumulunimble metanet map (and say remake) ?

When you exit the missile cave, you say: "OK keep calm, it's finished, the last cave is easy..."
...EASY.
Yes, believe us. :D

-yea pretty cool that you beat your Apache map Maxwell, clever map. i got a bit of a mental block when it comes to trying to get rockets to go where I want them to. Although on the bounceblocks map your '' insert generic name ending with '', I jumped and the rocket got confused and shot off in a straight line, but the thing is I needed to go in that same direction so I was literally chasing it half way across the map ..and then it turned slightly and got me :( Pretty funny though :D
ps. omg cruelest map in the world no? Thumpers www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=32972

in the old version of N,the thwumps were not so "killers", if you are squashed you came launched at superluminal speed ... it was more fun, even though it was unreal! :Djames_S wrote:ps. omg cruelest map in the world no? Thumpers http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=32972

What do you guys think about 2 players mode? We can try it via an Internet connection (if the connection is fast enough (and free)).
E.g. we can create a Teamviewer conference and voila multiplayer mode opened.
Teamviewer is a program which allows to send keyboard (or mouse) input to a remote pc
and which also displays the remote pc's desktop.
I'm not pretty sure that it is a good idea, but we can try it at least.

"5-4 Russian Beauregards" by M4xwell. What is beauregards? [Google translate. Connecting people. beauregard-Борегар (ボーレガード, BEAUREGARD). lol waht. Or maybe not] I would be very grateful if somebody told me. Loooool. I dunno what is so funny about this map, but i can't stop laughing while playing it. And that's why my run is so solid, clean and good that no one will ever be able to beat it. For sure. Don't even try, it's impossible.
Although... Maybe i know how to make it even better... Yet another bottle of vodka!!! Yeah. I can make even better run with it.
M4xwell, you are awesome! This map is something

It could be quite cool to be able to copy the opponent during the run, although thats a drawback in another way..
'5-4 Russian Beauregards' -haha yea especially the sideways heart Nice one Maxwell

Yea, but i sorta more interested in co-op mode. One player collects gold and the other open a door or smt like this.james_S wrote: It could be quite cool to be able to copy the opponent during the run, although thats a drawback in another way..

I haven't finished metanet original maps, so we can create a shared account and complete all maps in co-op mode.
(Just a while ago in n2.0 user levels highscore thread EddyMataGallos intrigued me a bit with some metanet 0'th, but i can't see
or play those maps, because i haven't finished even the first column yet :D . It would be troublesome if i decided to highscore those,
because i can't do it under the shared account [not polite] but i would be able to see the levels at least).
N is quite a dynamic game, so I have a strong suspicion that the client part would lag as ...
But we'll never know unless we try.
