As for the RCJ on 10-0 I do think that there is something special about the one in your run that makes it a bit different than the average RCJ. I think it is the same type of CJ as 13-0 and 51-0. For some reason these CJs seem to have extra power to them and I am not sure why. Maybe it is just my imagination, but I think there may be something that triggers the huge height from them.
Also for 84-0 I think for any future 0th hopefuls this should always be attempted because it has the potential to save a nice chunk of time with near 0 risk.
Thanks man. I also believe the approach to certain cj's can somehow trigger that extra power, the thing is that, since a cj is actually a bug, the ninja getting into the tile and then getting bumped off, its behaviour can, in some scarce cases, be that rare (because damn, 51-0 is rare, it doesn't quite follow our instinctive cj rules, that we would apply when approaching any cj, but rather we just know it works like so when you approach it that way, and then we just copy that exact approach again, to achieve the same results). Its a rare behaviour, although certainly not random or else the demos wouldn't always work haha. Which means we still have a lot to learn from N and its physics after 10 years, and that makes it quite unique :P
As for my 10-0 rcj in particular, I have to say the one in my 0th wasn't nearly the most powerful I got, and thats what I base my previous comment on, I got some which landed me on the end of the platform, I don't even know how haha, but that's why I think that a proper approach could give enough power to reach the corner and corner-kick there again, the problem is to find the actual pattern needed, or the principles of that rare behaviour. Anyway thats something that will never be applied realtime, probably, so it really is an MBD concern, or for the sake of knowledge.
As for the 84-0 final trick, I managed it once, and with a slow run I still got .975 (missing gold I mean), but at the end I didn't try to improve my 0th with it. I think its a pretty good idea, but the thing is that, you do risk going too much to the left, and instead of hitting the corner, hitting the side of the thwump. That could have two consequences, the soft one is, you would wallslide and lose time. The worst one, which is probably what would happen, is that since the thwump is going to the right, after hitting it you would be slightly propelled to the right as well, as we know thats how N v1.4 handles momentum, and you wouldn't reach the door and die :P This is just a huge speculation though as that has never happened to me. Nevertheless, no risk no gain.
