I like those ideas. However, I think instead of tables there should be servers. This way, anyone could set up a server and anyone could join them (providing it isn't password protected).

Also, I really don't get this AltArc project. What's wrong with numa?

1. They would be servers, but we would "call" them tables.

I like this, but why not give everyone placing powers at the same time? I mean if you both can work on it at once, it'd be awesome to watch the thing come together! Yeah someone could fuck with your stuff, but if you were with a dick like that, why would you be collabing with them?

For the same reason the iPhone did not have multi-finger input on its touchscreen when it was first releases. It would slow down response time to a crawl, unless they're was only only room or something.
