I know I'm way late, and even though it was still late to join, I should have said something when this was way younger, but I do want in, so could I be placed on a list or something in the case of another person dropping out? That would be nice.

LoL, no, it's a big mappack with a panel of judges that have to okay each map before it goes into the pack. That said, you may perhaps still be able to get in on it.

Also, why do my maps disappear from the Maps page? I had one map, Tumbleweed that got at least one "yea", and now I can't find it.

The map doesn't disappear, just all the links to it. To work around this, put links to all your maps in your profile.
