What I like: I like a wide variety of things, which people on this forum may or may not know. I really do only show a small sliver of my personality on the debate forum here. I've decided as of today, though, that I am going to make an effort to be a more balanced member of the community. I do enjoy debate, but I also enjoy sports (soccer, baseball, skiing, rock climbing), reading, music (alternative rock, classic rock, and the occasional rap and reggae), food, and an assortment of other activities.
Plans for College: Something math and sciencey. Applied Math, Computer Science, and Operations Research are all examples of majors that I am thinking about pursuing. I still have until November (I think) before I have to apply to any universities, so it's a little early to say where I'll be applying. I want to go to CalTech, but with a 17% acceptance rate and a very good applicant pool, my chances are probably not very good.

What I like: Esoteric things, thought, and depth in conversation. People who are the following: intuitive, intriguing, intellegent, philosophical, analystic, reasonable, and rational. At the same time, I remain baffeled by people who are the following: ridiculous, ignorant, naïve, unobservant, senseless, and all around simple. It's amusing to watch the world and the people in it, and it's a hobby of mine. I also like to paint, and draw. Oh, and I like Mason Lowrey quite a bit. Do you know him?
Plans for Uni: The human mind intrigues me a great deal. But, I also need to find a way to incorprate my thirst for expressing my creativity. I haven't come to a conclusion as to what I should do yet.

Name: Cole Heule. Yeah!
Age: 17. I'm old!
Living in: Minnesota. Wooo, northern US! Kinda not.
What I Like: Hmm. Many things. I really love to play tennis, and I want it to be a career. I am also very involved in music, just in case my tennis career plans backfire and fail. I sing and play the bassoon. I also like photography, especially of landscapes and nature and whatnot. Eating is something I do everyday, and very often during that day. I love it! And sleeping is awesome. And I like girls. And taking walks. And yeah.
Plans For College: I plan on majoring in music. I have a vague interest in Psychology, so I'll probably minor in that. I might combine the two fields into something like music therapy or something. That is, if I am not successful in college tennis. Which I do plan to be successful in. So there. :D

What I Like; Loads of things. I love music, can't live without it. I love photography, even more than I love music. I love video games, and it's kinda a toss up between music and video games for the number one spot. When I was younger, i thought I wanted to be a video game designer, not knowing what that actually entails. Then, I got this book that helps you become a programmer, and the truth hit me. it's really tedious. So, for a while, I didn't know what I wanted to do. And my mom enrolled me in this program for "teens" (I hate that term) who're interested in art. Whatever happened to me, I knew I wanted to be an artist. So, that was a lucky break for me. When I first started, I thought I wanted to be in graphic design. I then realized, that photography is my ONE TRUE LOVE (Well, maybe not one. There's always... her.) So, I'm saving up to by a Nikon D40 with those cheap plastic lenses, A.K.A "chuckers" since I'm on a fixed income, so that I can build up a decent portfolio for college. If i do get in, I'm hoping to major in photography, and minor in painting, since I think I'm a pretty good abstract/impressionist...ist...er. Whatever. Needless to say, it'll be an art school. If. however, it's one of those colleges that has an art program as well as a typical curriculum, then I'll probably minor in philosophy, or psychology, or something, since I'm fascinated by the mind and thinking, and all that. A certain point of interest for me, is the human personality, which include things such as the for temperaments, and such.
Yep. There's my wall of text.

I'm a little inept socially. I tend to make a mess of conversation, and my face to face sense of humour can be a little too dry for some people. I tend to see the absurdity in most things, and I'm quite playful with that. It can touch nerves, I like the people who can enjoy this and give as good as they get. Saying that, I can be very outgoing and meeting new people is something I'm interested in.
I'm very empathic, mostly to a detriment, it's a strength and a weakness. I'm very accepting of pretty much anything aside from ignorance and pointless stupidity. I'm very perceptive of people, I read mannerisms well and can often decide if I like a person within minutes of having a conversation with them and I'm accurate with it.
I dislike relationships over the internet. I often miss-read/am miss-read, and I don't like the way certain personalities dominate and control. I try my best to shy away from cliques and I think this makes me quite difficult to get to know in an online capacity.
I'm really a very friendly person, but I am (ugh) opinionated and I know exactly what I like and what I don't and I definitely don't shy from sticking up for my beliefs.
I don't see the point in chewing on bad beef for too long. I'd rather spit it out and forget about it than potentially choking on some silly principle.
I like metaphors.
Thinking of original synecdoches is a game I enjoy.
-
Interests? Music, mostly. I don't think I could function without it. My tastes are eclectic on purpose, I don't want to miss anything potentially amazing just because I closed myself to a genre. Mew are The Definitive as far as I'm concerned. GlassJaw are a close second. Performing a good performance with my band is possibly the greatest feeling. I honestly couldn't think of anything I'd rather do with my life than play every day and be paid for it.
Gaming, Film, Art, Literature, etc... I enjoy the finer aspects of all, but that's not to say I don't like to get down and dirty with a Twilight, or Underworld movie every now and then. Trashy Sci-Fi/fantasy is brilliant fun.
Aliens is my favourite film of all time.
Metal Gear Solid, my favourite game.
George Orwell, Neil Gaiman and Harukai Murakami are my favourite authors.
I have various projects I'm working on currently. I'm building a four colour screen printing kit with aspirations to start up a Tshirt company with my friend, andwriting a collection of morally debauched 'once upon a time....' tales for adults and a children's book that a friend of mine is illustrating (both of which I will be attempting to find publication for). We're also writing and recording our new EP - working title: clouded and twice as sky-bound, it'll be a 6-8 track mini-album and it's the best stuff we've ever done.
-
My band is The Forest And The Fire.
I'm a great cook. Omnomnom.
I hold a Black Belt in Karate.
I play the Bass, Guitar, and Keyboards.
I'm a sucker for skinny, clever girls with good taste in music and intelligent things to say.
I'm actually hilarious, and quite brilliant, one day everyone else will get in on this and I'll be a millionaire.

I'm a unique mix, I think. My mum is Corsican (an island below France), and my Dad is African (Sierra Leonean). I have lived near London for all my life (North London, namely).
I'm a very hyper person, I'm always running everywhere, and I'm very restless. I also get bored very easily. Also, I have mild Asperger's syndrome. Since being a teenager I've lost my shyness now, bust still feel uneasy near chavs. I can be quite childish as well, but never on the internet. I love watching cartoons (Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and Pink Panther are my favorites), and I love reading comics. I also really enjoy being around younger children. Get any wrong thoughts out of your head. My character is a lot like my mum's.
My dad is rich, but hardly any money goes to me, but to my half-sister and quarter-brother who live in Sierra Leone. Not to say that he goes there every two months, meaning that I hardly ever see my parents. To be quite honest, I have to live my own life really now. I'm a stray child.
My music life isn't so big, seeing that my parents aren't always there to do things for me. I play piano, and I'm currently working on Grade 6. I used to play the guitar, but it go so expensive that I had to quit. I was on Grade 2 at the time.
I'm terrible at most sports, except for Softball and Athletics. Sport doesn't really interest me.
I have strong interests. Numbers and Chemistry, all sane so far, but the strange interest is the London Underground. :P
I am popular in school. I'm very friendly and a bit like a child, but I'm always helping people with things. Unfortunately in school, I'm too nice for my own good. That's my main disadvantage. One of my friends borrowed £20 for lunch, and he still hasn't paid it back.
I love the old video game once in a while. Yes, including Club Penguin. My favorite games are Sonic CD, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Chip's Challenge, all played on my parents' old Megadrive, NES and computer. I don't own a console now, as my parents think it takes too much of my time.
I'm a really good cook. I cook at parties.
End.

I'm Ranny! My real name is something else, a few know it already.
I'm 20 years old, as of the 12th of July, but I feel younger than I actually am.
I reside in Michigan, and like to point to where I live on my hand.
Music: I love different kinds of music, but mainly drum n bass, house, alternative, and some hip hop. My favorite band is the Mars Volta, and I think second to that is Pendulum.
I do like anime and manga, but haven't been watching much of it lately. Hellsing was my favorite a while ago, but I seem to favor shoujo more now, I think it has to do with my old age. Don't get me wrong though, I love me some awesome fight scenes.
Uh... I think that's it. I dunno if I want to divulge all my secrets. :D
