Okay, I have three important stuff to say.
I've sent some invitations to few people who expressed their interest into a competition, so we might start with delay because of waiting for their answers, their integration and rescheduling. Also check your account regularly for friendship invitations of these new members that we might get.

The second thing is that chess on this server cannot be played with Opera.

And final, I'll repeat how to play:

On chess.com you go on Play -> Live Chess, then you get My Friends In Live Chess list.

Well, first you must have everyone from the list in your friends. Once you have them and you want to play, go on Play (top left) and choose Live Chess. There will be My Friends In Live Chess list where you just choose who you're playing with.

Okay, I'm tentatively in, mostly to even the numbers (feel free to dump me if we end up with an odd number at some point). Since it seems to be on a 1-2 days/turn (or some sort of delay, at least), I should be able to play. I'll go join chess.com, and edit in my account name.

I believe I'm GMT-6 (US Central), and I'll double-check that.
EDIT: I'm on as 'flagmyidol', but whenever I try to request friends, it asks for email addresses, not account names.

EDIT 2: GMT-6 is only transient... right now it seems to be GMT-5. Screw Daylight Savings.

Because I can't just sit down and play chess for four hours... I might not even be able to make my first move until that evening. I really hope it's intermittent.

Yeah, you need to get a few things get cleared up first:
Timing: I would suggest 15-30 minutes per person (i.e. 30 minutes- 1 hour long games), as these times are quite short but allow for decent games, but I don't know how everyone else feels about this.
Also, points system: I assume it will be +1 for a win, +1/2 for a draw and +0 for a loss?

On the schedule, white is on the left, so whoever is on the left starts first. But in the next half of the league (which starts in February next year) the schedule will be the same, only everybody will switch sides.
About your next match... Well, it was planned to be live chess. I'll make another poll (it will appear in edited version of this post in five minutes, so stand by) where we're going to decide how long will the matches last. It won't be more than an hour (before we started talking on this issue, I had 10 mins per player in mind). After all, you can find some time when you have spare time, and it's in reasonable time for your opponnent.

I've talked about the first part of your message in this post earlier.
About the point system, 1 point for win and 0.5 for a draw is pretty much the same thing as 2 for victory and 1 for draw. By the way, that poll ends in Saturday.

Actually that is not an error. You'll notice that in the round 6 you and flagmyidol are not playing, in the round 7 it's me and Flight, in 8 it's chume14 and hmm, in 9 it's Drathmoore and Donfuy, and in the last it's 999_Springs and Tunco123.
It's just the way it has to be, and we don't want matches to repeat.

Those matches would last forever. What would happen when the players are in far time zones? Are you sure you won't be able to find spare twenty minutes (shorter, probably)?

Thirty minutes isn't very long for a chess match. I suppose if you want to put us on a clock or something, we could do that... I still might not even have thirty minutes at one sitting. As it happens, I think I'll be fine for this Saturday's match, so it doesn't matter just yet, at least in my case.

Correction, I probably won't have a problem, if our game is moved up about three or four hours.

I'm too busy for this, long term. :/

That was my original suggestion. A sort of simultaneous nine-games-at-the-same-time with two days for each move. I would actually like that.

I would accept the current schedule, though, without any changes. It's just that I'm much better at playing longer games than short ones. I HATE CHESS CLOCKS.
