I've actually gone back to listening to Picaresque a fair bit recently.

And Sufjan Stevens - You Are the Blood, from the Dark Was The Night compilation.

Donfuy, you like good albums but odd songs from them. Today's lesson: TURN ON ME. And also either house of cards or 15 step.

I just found my Weezer Blue Album and re-ripped it to my computer. Man, those guys are music gods.

Recently started listening to The Ting Tings again, I almost forgot how catchy some of their songs are. I've also been throwing in some random Imogen Heap now and then.

Maybe my favorite live recording ever: Steve Cropper and Pearl Jam playing "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay."

What, and no mention for the glorious Jigsaw Falling into Place or excellent Weird Fishes?

I've been getting more into hip-hop lately, more specifically, Gorillaz. I've been pleasantly surprised at the overall good quality of indie/underground hip-hop vs. mainstream stuff. I'm also getting more into breakcore and DJ'd stuff. 'Specially because of Techno's and Tanner's freeshit. And whoever else is contributing to it.

Give the whole list there a listen, it's fantastic. But maybe skip the first song.

"Alone in This" is my favourite - quietly beautiful, and so very early Snow Patrol.

PS: since when has behind blue eyes been not uncool.

Can the real Dave Simpson please stand up? Sit down, Grant.

Just picked up a couple CDs at my local HMV: Noah and the Whale's Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down and Cease to Begin by Band of Horses.

For the record, I'm pretty sure Second Lover (by Noah and the Whale) is one of the most tragic love songs I've ever heard. Yeah, I'm a softie...so sue me.
