The other day this song came up in shuffle, i'd never heard it before and I still have no idea how it came to be on my computer, but it sounded pretty good.
It took me about half an hour to find the artist, it turned out to be some garage band from Melbourne.
The song is called "All you see" and it is by a band called "3secondmemory". Not to be confused with the UK band of the same name. They also have a better song called "Friends Are Not For Sale".
Their website is down and I don't know if they still make music. All their stuff is free download at the below site and it is all pretty good. I highly recommend. Check it out-

I'm hung up on Ronald Jenkees, an indie keyboardist, who's an absolute BEAST. His quirkiness is probably what gives him so much attention. He's actually kinda dorky, and so people enjoy listening to music from someone who's actually got flaws, than from some picture perfect person, which is so common among musicians, you know? I may (and probably am) be explaining this all wrong, but I still love him nonetheless.

Two million views on Youtube makes is about as indie as Radiohead.

Hrm. Indie in the sense that, at least to my knowledge, he isn't signed yet.

I just discovered, and am rocking out to, Audioslave. (Soundgarden's Cornell with the entire instrumental part of RATM, excellent combination)

Tycho: "I don't know why people ever, ever try to stop nerds from doing things. It's really the most incredible waste of time."
Adam Savage: "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

I think their self titled album is the best. Great band.smartalco wrote:I just discovered, and am rocking out to, Audioslave. (Soundgarden's Cornell with the entire instrumental part of RATM, excellent combination)
Recently I'm into Abdominal, Slightly Stoopid, a bit of Crystal Castles.
Haha, just noticed, 3 completely different bands. Hip hop, Reggae and Electro.

I love everything about RATM, except Zach's vocals. Cornell is the final puzzle piece to the group. Moth is an amazing song.
I've been digging a bunch of Porcupine Tree lately.

My God, seriously? RATM isn't even much of a band without the fucking vocals. They're a boring standard Zeppelin interpretation without the rap element. :(

The Notwist - Neon Golden, the album. It's very different to any other music that I've enjoyed before, but I think that is a good thing.

The Planets by Holst(Particularly Venus, Mars and Jupiter)
I'm not much of a classical fan, but The Planets are very listenable (if that makes sense?).
Also, The Other Side by Pendulum
Takes over a minute to get started, but once it does...
