Just so no one gets confused, I feel the need to clarify this whole thing (because honestly, if I didn't know what was going on, I'd be totally lost, but I might just be retarded, but anyway...)
Normally, we'd only have three people making packs. But in this round, there was a three-way tie for third. So in this round only, there are five people making packs. Hope that makes sense.

2nd) Life
3rd) Erik, Numa_Ninja, and Apse
4th...?
5th...?
Everyone listed in the top three spots get to make a pack. Usually it's only 3 people in the top three, but this round there are 5. So 5 people make a pack.
--------------------
On another note, when will Round 4 begin? Whenever all 5 above submit there packs?

A third note:
I never made this map pack, neither the title nor the objects. Was there a mixup, like the authors got switched, within the last two rounds?http://www.nmaps.net/213017 wrote:Your "Oh so very" Lonely Basement by Im_bad_at_N

I'll talk to flag and ChrisE and get Round 4 going as soon as possible.im_bad_at_n wrote:On another note, when will Round 4 begin? Whenever all 5 above submit there packs?
No idea. It might have been incorrectly attributed to you way back in the old mapdraft contests. Or maybe I or ChrisE was organizing and somehow made that mistake? Anyone know who actually made that pack?iban wrote:A third note:I never made this map pack, neither the title nor the objects. Sorry, I've been busy doing... stuff.
I'll send out the packs tonight (GMT time), hmm, I'll check the origins of the mystery pack.
EDIT: It's actually Erik-Player's. Sorry, iban. My mistake.

Sure. Added Pig2 to the list of participants, and all packs have been mailed out.Pig2 wrote:Will I be able to join in next round?
Maps are due by 00:00 GMT on Sunday 15th May, so you have ten days.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot! It's been bugging me since I've first seen it, so I'm glad it has been figured out.ChrisE wrote:Sorry, I've been busy doing... stuff.

I'm not sure if you can join this round, but I'll talk to ChrisE. In any case, you'll be in starting from at least the next round, and I'll put you on the list in the OP.

Hold him! He`s almost in our secret lab with the new meat-eating plants, which like the meat of genetic clones above 60 years! by brainstone
Rule
The exit must be in a little room, which contains At least five enemies. IF you have
got less than five enemies in your packs, you`ll gain up to five enemies of your
choice.
Do mines count?

Well, brainstone made the pack, but he doesn't seem to be around anymore, so we can't really get clarification from him. So sure, mines count.

I've seen this a bunch and always thought it was pretty cool but haven't participated. Haven't made a map in ages so i figured I may as well sign up this. So count me in (for round 5). Just so I have some idea, how long does it usually take between ends of one round and the start of the next?

Mappers get two weeks to make a map, and it takes about a week to judge them. Though I don't know why the can't just judge the maps as they're posted.fingersonthefrets wrote:I've seen this a bunch and always thought it was pretty cool but haven't participated. Usually less than a week, I think. It takes flag and ChrisE a couple days to judge, then we wait a day or two for the winners to send in their packs.
Because then people couldn't edit their maps without the judges having to play them again.Aidiera wrote:Mappers get two weeks to make a map, and it takes about a week to judge them.
