My thoughts exactly. I even thought 'fucking' in the same places.

What the hell are you talking about?
I was quoting someone on King 5 news (my local station).

Rhekatou, I think you need to switch news stations. Dead people cannot win Nobel Prizes anymore.

I'm fairly sure Mother Teresa did win the peace prize, but I do not think Gandhi did.
(checks Wikipia)
yeah. I think there would be less controversy if they would've settled with Obama being the Time person of the year, like Stalin and Hitler before him.

Obama won the award because he was nominated because of his goals and because he was the first african-american president.
Like that really made the country and/or world SO much peaceful-er.
h3ll, I could nominated for the award!

I can't help but feel that the nomination was at least partially intended to put pressure on him not to start a military surge in Afghanistan.

Even if Obama did, I'm not sure that they would just take it back. Once you go black...

No idea whether or not he deserved it, but he seemed pretty embarrassed about it on television

For those of you who play no Space Pimp:
Latest news: Brent Hunterson, 4, Recipient of Galactic Lifetime Achievement Award

In a shocking upset earlier today, Brent Hunterson--resident of the state of Missouri in Universe 17--has been named the next recipient of the Galactic Lifetime Achievement Award, for his nearly 1500 days of outstanding existence. Hunterson expressed nothing but humbleness and modesty, likely to make everyone else look bad if they get pissed off at him. Also, he's just a 4 year old, so you can't even do anything about it. It'd be like you're picking on a kid, or some shit. SPNN News was unable to reach him directly for comment, given his status, but his handlers, Mr. and Mrs. Hunterson, told us the inside scoop:

"We can't be more happy. Our son is using big words and stuff already. He makes really good sentences and he also seems to have an aptitude for mathematics," Mr. Hunterson said.

"He's also done some really good drawings with crayons. He could be the next Rembrandt!" Mrs. Hunterson said, with a laugh. Her companion, after a playful chuckle, added, "It's on the fridge, if you want to see it." We went in and saw the artwork. It was pretty good.

Commentators on SPNN's competitor news (and classic rock) station, K97 "The Monster", have done nothing but bitch and moan on the airwaves about the award's recipient since it happened. Seriously. Radio host and douchebag Slice "The Monster" Slice commented: "This 4 year old hasn't done shit yet. Look, I know the kid has promise. He's already doing his pluses and minuses like a goddamn 7 year old. But don't you want to wait until giving out the award? I mean, you give it out every year, why not just wait until he's at least in elementary school? award, instead, because [I am a little bitch, and my radio station is] a clear mockery." Space Keith Olbermann agress that K97 is a shitty radio station.

Hunterson's preschool teacher, Maybelle Robothands, says that Hunterson plays very well with the other kids. "Even though he's developing at a slightly faster rate, he's not letting it go to his head. He's a very polite person. Respectful, too." When the news came on the preschool television, interrupting a Very Special Episode of Boohbah, the teacher could tell that Brent Hunterson was in absolute shock. "He came to me, crying, asking why he was on the television. Then he needed another juice box."

Hours after the news, Brent Hunterson worked with the Grand Parliament to write up a bill that will reduce energy emissions by 74% and free $700 billion to be used for health care packages, as these initiatives are voted upon by the Parliament. "I did that shit all the time when I was a kid, fuck," commented racist, flag-burning K97 host Slice "The Monster" Slice.

that is one of the reasons he has one the award. And to those who have said that "he hasn't done anything yet", Obama has made an agreement with Russia to reduce their nuclear stockpiles, and has furthermore wncouraged the U.N. to follow up by making laws that reduce stockpiles around the world. That's something, isn't it? Although I'm a bit iffy on his demand of Iran to halt their uranium enrichment plants. There is the possibility that Ahmadinejad is using the plants to create an alternative energy resource, in these polluted times, but the recent election scams is starting to convince me that he's just a puppetmaster's doofus.

Ahmadinejad is indeed a nobody. The Ayatollah is the man with his blessed hands on the nuclear-powered steering wheel.

Correct, but the nominations for the prize were due two weeks after he took the office, and the prize is supposed to be based on achievements from before that point. He has certaintly been working towards peace, but he had done very little in his first two weeks.
