oops, yeah haha. I was like: "don't write 40-4. don't write 40-4. don't write 40-4." so of course that's what I do write.

Yeah it must be, I managed to get 2nd (sorry!) with a fairly rough run.

If you watch with the demo feature on van's run you had 0th up until the very last jump. you jumped too early so you didn't get the push from the 1 tile and van past you. So that route is certainly faster.

Thx for 40-0.

My ending is .2 faster, at least. (:p van)
And my beginning too, if you don't touch the wall (I got a shitty one). Because you'll start falling earlier, thus you'll have more speed.

PS : Pablo228 got a 162 route. Not completely sure if it's possible, but probably. I'm trying.
Starting with van's route, you try to collect all the gold in one jump less, i.e. starting by collecting 2 by 2 from the top. I can get the first jumps right.

That looks best. Combine these 2 runs for agd and profit:

never got agd even on test map

40-4.

This is possibly quicker than having to do the extra WJ on each side of the map?

I retired! XD

51-1: compare my 139.250 run to xaelar's 0th. Notice the difference after the exit of the bottom right room...

If you can get better WJs or a BBCK or something so that you can beat the first drone then it is useful. Otherwise since you are limited by the drones you will just end up tied with Ska.

Map: 69-2
Time Saved: 6 Frames
Difficulty: Super Easy

Current Route: Lim waits to fall to the 1-tile before jumping.

New Route: Just wall jump instead of waiting to slope jump.

This is a super small innovation, and 6 frame probably isn't enough to beat Lim's great run, but it is also about as easy as 6 frames can come.

44-3 on the highscores board (currently 4th place).. If I can find a way to optimise the end, it could be a new 0th route. (you could even improve the 0th by simply using the normal route for the 2nd half...

Edit: Just thought I'd add that the drone can be problematic on the right side on the final ascent. The best way to counter this (assuming you choose to use part 2 of the innov), is to feint out wide to prevent the seeker from charging at you - but it's easier said than done because you can't afford to miss the gold...

44-3. But keep misspelling the levels :P

Your route seems easier, I'll give a try. I might even consider giving you credits for it :)

69-2 sr

My demo is slower than the current 0th but someone might be able to do something with it.

Due to the "semi-random" nature of chainguns it may be possible to get this to work on 9-0 which should be faster than using the jump-pad?

good idea.. but it's not very effective, even without the chaingun...
what is effective is the falling corner jump on the left side...

Better use the same beginning as me (not mine!). Faster than ska. And pretty similar to your demo.
