Zivilyn wrote:First of all, you can't be eliminated from the contest. Please read through all of the spoilers in the first post. Also your name isn't on the member roster so I'm surprised you got sent packs this round.

LouDog004 wrote:This isn't a poll option, so I'll just say it here. I think that we should get four packs next time, and we can choose the four packs we want to use from those new packs and the packs we didn't use out of the eight we received this week.
That has actually been the plan the entire time, rendering the poll kind of irrelevant. Eight maps every week would've been a pain in the ass.

So here is how the next round is going to work:

You receive only four new packs.
Take the four you decided not to use from the previous round for a total of eight.
Pick four to actually make your map with.

The only reason you were even sent eight in the first place was so that we could try the above system, so we are going to for at least one round before changing anything again.

Since I was going to wait to explain that particular tidbit until announcing the pods on Sunday, I will just do that now as well.

Grats on your 2nd place, Mae, your map was amazing. I'd have thought it won, but uh well.

I see I got the Runner-up in my pod. Great! I'll make that one map pack right away and PM it.

Is Wounded Breakfast by Senseschal some kind of joke? Because it turns out that no one on NUMA or the forums goes by the name Senseschal. After some quick research, it turns out that Wounded Breakfast is a poem by Russel Edson, and Seneschal was a title for officers in the houses of important nobles in the Middle Ages.

Nonetheless, I'm psyched that I get to make two packs.

Yeah, I won! :D congrats to everyone else, this round was a good one

I don't understand what I won :(
Did I win the option of chosing 3/4 packs of my choice for my next map? and did I win the option to create 1 new pack, or a group of 4 packs? the prizes have been removed on the front page, so I lost track :(

What happened to the map links?
ExüberNewsFeed: Exuberance is mostly <AFF> (Away From Forums) for a while, though I may still participate in epic contests/threads. When I return, I shall bring several comic updates (enough to finish season 1) and hopefully 1 or 2 games- at least one of which is N-related
Comic Activity-O-Meter: (how often I'm updating my comic)
(Click here to see what each level and half-level means in terms of updates per time period)

NOTE: If I just add a bunch of comics in one day, but plan on going back to normal after that, I probably won't update the status.
+ Dead: Canceled. Done. Maybe you'll get a random comic like once a year, but it's pretty much done.
- Zombie (Dead/Comatose): The comic is probably done regular updates forever, but I'll probably still add something once in a blue moon. It's still POSSIBLE, that I'll raise the status up, but not very likely. Maybe I'll have a comicplosion for like a week, then go back to being dead
+ Comatose: Complete stand-by. No (or very few) updates for some amount of time, but the comic's far from being over
- <AFK> (Comatose/Loitering): Stand-by, but you might possibly count on a few updates once and a while. Again, this is temporary
+ Loitering: Like comatose, but for short amount of times.
- Turtling (Loitering/Semi-Active): Really slooooww updates
+ Semi-Active: One every 2 weeks...ish?
- Quasi-Active (Semi-Active/Active): Averaging about 2 comics every 3 weeks
+ Active: Loosely defined status, but about a weekly update
- Over-Active (Active/Power-leveling): About 2 comics a week
+ Power-leveling: About 3 comics a week. Possible a schedule, possibly not
- Über-Epic (Power-leveling/COMICPLOSION!!): In some cases, this may actually be mean updates more frequently than COMICPLOSION!!, but I'm defining this level as a non-organized comic rush, kind of like a few days after my comic started
+ COMICPLOSION!!: Daily updates for a minimum of 5 days (since the daily updates started. It remains at this status until the 5, 7, whatever days are done)

You create 1 pack of your own for three of the four categories of your choice to be added to the pack list.

We're going to wait to split people into pods until submissions have been closed this time, since only about half of the members turned in round 3 maps. That way we wind up with a pod with only three actual maps to judge again.

Also, if you won a prize, you come up with your own pack ideas, and send them to me or Palemoon. Preferably Palemoon since I can't edit them into the OP.

Well. I came second. Yay. *satisfaction*

My packs now come long and flowing like a bleached brunette.

Rule: Bipolar Twitching
While playing your map, you may not use any other button but the jump button. Essentially, your map is jump only.

Booster: Popsickle
30 'Five' Tiles
5 Floor-guards
10 Gold

Tiles: It Looks Like A Sunflower!
45 'Four' Tiles

The answer is anarchy.

No, you're not :(

Btw, can I create any type of pack (i.e.: Tiles, booster)? Should all packs be of a different type, or am I allowed to create, say, two rules?

Ahem. That would be me.

Do we have to make a pack(s) if we come top 3 (or runner up, as in my case), or is it optional?

it's totally optional. Don't worry about it if you don't want to. I'll make some instead.

Also, in other news, i sent out the packs to everybody who is participating!

now, here's something special this round--

remember how you got 8 packs last round and threw away 4 of them?

You receive only four new packs.
Take the four you decided not to use from the previous round for a total of eight.
Pick four to actually make your map with.

Good luck, and have the fun times!
