Also, Kipper played really bad. Like, I've never seen him (and Nabokov) play this bad. Finns looked too nervous from the opening faceoff. Tonight's game should be closer.

He didn't get a great start, and I don't think he was aggressive enough. The same can be said for the 5,000 relay.

-- After Day 15 --
USA - 34
GER - 27
CAN - 21
NOR - 20
AUT - 15

Canada now leading the gold medal count with ten.

If Luongo plays well, Canada has this game in the bag. But he got shakey against the Slovaks at the end, a common Canadian trait if you watched the Women's Curling final, so it could go any way.

Not necessarily. Ryan Miller's been playing phenomenally.

Canada has a phenomonally better team than anybody else Ryan Miller has faced. If Marty hadn't been so shakey during our last game, you guys would have been disappointed.

Nobody has posted yet, so let me be the first to congratulate Canada on winning the Men's Hockey heroically and the most Winter Gold Olympics in history.

I've been seeing a disturbing amount of hate for Canada on Facebook and such. People seem to be forgetting that the US actually forced an overtime against a team that was /supposed/ to beat them in /regulation/. They also seem to be forgetting that the US /still took home a frickin' silver medal for their efforts/. GG, USA. GG, Canada. Good Olympics, world. We should do it again sometime. See you next Olympiad?

As much as I love the United States, I have a soft spot for Canadian hockey. Congratulations Canada.

It was a pretty epic game though. The tying goal with 24 seconds left in regulation? That deserves props.

didn't watch too much of the hockey game myself, saw the replay about 6 more times though. some of the more whiny Americans will be complaining about that referee that "helped" win the game for Canada, I'll wager.

the closing ceremonies was the zaniest thing I've ever seen in my life. that comedian, the woman before Michael J. Fox was atrocious. they shoulda gotten someone that's pretty well know, like Jim Carrey or at least Red Green.

USA won most overall medals and bronze and silver medals, while Canada won the most gold medals. I've heard that Germany won the most time-based events as well. congratularions to all teams who did and did not receive medals; that includes Nepal, Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Senegal. Personally, the most memorative past of these Olympics was Montgomery's final run and Charles Hamelin's extraordinary finish to the Men's Short Track Speedskating 500 metres.

The closing ceremonies were pretty neat, until the music performances, wherein Arcade Fire, Dallas Green, The Tragically Hip and a good number of other brilliant popular Canadian artists for Hedley and Simple Plan. :(

Canada may have won the most gold medals ever, but the Americans won the most medals ever in the history of the winter olympics.

Probably because it was the Olympics.

And kudos to the U.S. for giving such a good game. That was some awesome hockey.

Yeah, and kudos to Parise for scoring with 24 seconds left... Luongo could've played better, but he made some fantastic saves.

Not exactly, Germany typically wins the medal count for the Winter Olympics every year. This is the first time we've won since it was held in Lake Placid in 1932.

incluye, do you not understand the meaning of the sentence? Be less of a prick. I don't need you to follow my posts around and give me grammar lessons.
