Rules

-Start

You don't need to register. Just place your bets whenever you want. Before any bettings, you have 1 MNDs (MND is an abbrevation for Metanet Dollar, or Metadollar).

-Betting

Here are the most important rules:

- you can bet on at least three things
- you cannot bet on yourself
- least money you can give is 1 MND. You can also give for example 1.34, 2.58, 1.5 etc.
- in case of winning, odds are being multiplied by each other and the money you invested. As an example, you placed your bets on four places, and invested 2 MNDs. Odds of the bettings you've chosen go like, for example, this: 1.25, 2.4, 1.8 and 1.5. 1.25 x 2.4 x 1.8 x 1.5 x 2 is the amount of money you'll get
- if you lose on one or more bettings, you don't get any money

-Loaning money

If you get out of money or you don't have as much as you want, you can loan it. Maximum loaning that you can get is your money + five. You can't borrow more than 25 MNDs. I'll also take interest (percentage is not determined yet). You'll have to turn the money back in maximum of 15 days. If you don't, you get banned for betting until you pay. You also don't have to give all the money back at once. After you get the money back, if you have less than one MND, you've lost. You'll be able to start over in a month.

It will be a bit hard to control, until you get some rules as to who can bet on what. With a community so specialised you have to be very careful to avoid sparking match-fixing accusations.

Edit: By the way, a noob map is a map made by an user who's made less than fifteen maps, and/or has lots of noob elements (clustering, or any other stuff described in jeffkillian's guide for new mappers).

(I assume you mean NReality, otherwise swipenet wouldn't be there.)

This is exactly what I mean by being careful. I could, for example, bet on myself to take 0th on Episode 123 highscore, and take it, without any real effort at all (I'm 0th->*1st). When I took 0th on it recently, I was only actually trying to get a top20 on the episode - somehow my run ended up in 0th! Or, alternatively, I could just inform someone else about a 0th that's easy to take, and that will greatly increase the chances of it being taken by them. I know about a few of these episodes myself, but I'm obviously not going to reveal them. And you also haven't really thought about the odds as well. Xaelar DOESN'T PLAY EPISODES.

This needs way more thought. This is why I was reluctant to post about it when I thought of it. But if you can get it to work, that would be brilliant. The idea is very good - it just needs more development.

That was an example. It's not really harder to make a bet with 3 rather than 1. Perhaps make it so that you can't bet on yourself?

Your odds are way, WAY too short for anyone to be really interested in betting. Since the rules imply that you don't get back the money that you bet, a value of 2 for the odds will be based on a probability of 1/2 for the event happening, and a value of 1.5 will be based on a probability of 2/3. For the odds that you give, the inferred probabilities are just not realistic. I know that the total of these probabilities should be more than 1, but the total of your probabilities for option 1 is more than 4, which is just ridiculous.
