I'm guessing you mean both are happening sort of at the same time. I only pressed jump the once to get that massive push.

Well I suppose you could count them as happening at the same time depending on when you pushed jump, but thwump squeezes don't require a jump for propulsion. So only one jump would be required. when you are squeezed like that though you can do several successive BTWJs in a row on the same thwump and get even more propulsion. This is done in my new DDEDDA at the start I do two btwjs during a ts giving me a lot of speed.
