I think most educated, secular people I know subscribe to the idea of moral relativism but he raises a good point that there are some common points on the scale of morality that are universal enough that we should just stop fucking about and run with them. I really liked the line about how just because there are more than one right answer doesn't mean there are no wrong answers.

Sam Harris is my favorite of the "New Atheists," as they're called.
I liked the talk. It was a bit slow at first, but my interest picked up about a third of the way in. He did ramble quite a bit on that last question, though. He's done better.
