Charlie Brooker, (born 3 March 1971 Reading, Berkshire) is an English comedian, cartoonist, journalist, television presenter and screenwriter. His style of humour is savage and profane, with surreal elements and a consistent satirical pessimism. He is particularly known for his highly acclaimed TV show Screenwipe and his review columns for The Guardian newspaper, and is one of four creative directors of comedy production company Zeppotron.
(above paragraph taken from the wiki)
Brooker worked for the English publication PC gamer earlier in his career, his reviews and features were a massive (acknowledged) inspiration for Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw of Zero Punctuation.
Brooker's moved away from focusing on Gaming these days, and now writes for the London Guardian and produces/presents his television show Screenwipe. both focus his biting wit and satire on the business of television itself. It's really brilliant stuff, laugh out loud for me in places (which is very rare).
The below link is to Brooker's official you tube channel showcasing every episode of Screenwipe from series 1-3. His Guardian articles can also be found with a quick search (and they're just as worth it).
Hope you enjoy!

I didn't particularly like him. Most of his criticisms and jokes were slightly expected in my opinion.
I feel the top of the roof come off, kill everybody there as I'm watching all the stars burn out, trying to pretend that I care.
But I didn't, no-one ever does, and I would, no-one ever will
Can't you see it's all flown out of my hands and our clothes are all too often ripped and our teeth are all too often gnashed and it lasts as long as it possibly can but I just don't accept this.
I just don't accept this at all.
Faces sweaty, arms and legs, what a glorious set of stairs we make.
We kill everyone with arrowheads, arrowheads, arrowheads. Thank god that's over.
