I see your point. I was just a bit tense about the whole "Cheez had the responsability for our team's map and advanced while most of his team sagged behind" - wasn't the people in charge of the groups the worst rated maps from first round, or did I misinterpret?SlappyMcGee wrote:The ratings are a combination of an average formed by your group score (You'll not that the group scores listed above are not the finalized scores, merely placeholders) and your initial score for your original submission. If your submission was great but your team stunk, you could still hypothetically pass.Diamondeye wrote:Aww man, That's annoying. Waiting so long for results only to find out you're eliminated.
Anyway, Slappy, if brainstone doesn't feel like continuing on, can I take his spot in this round? I'm not saying my 1st map-part was among the best, but you really gave my group a tough assignment since basically only two of us, not including our leader, ever checked back, and our parts didn't match at all.
I know; excuses, excuses - I'm just a bit mad about leaving a contest because of the inactivity of teammates. What'd you do to tiebreak us from the other 6/10's? Coinflip? Or are there nuanced ratings we can't see?
EDIT: Okay now I'm completely lost - not all of our team was eliminated? Cheez was supposed to be leading our team last round and did bagel, yet he's still in here? Why is that exactly?
And no, you can not rejoin. Inactivity of your group may have been a factor, but really, the map was in the hands of one person, and they did a bad job (or maybe it was left in your hands. But then you did a bad job. Either way, it is not my deal, unfortunately.)
Frankly, I can't allow people to rejoin the competition because that is unfair to everyone who was eliminated who does not get to rejoin.

Indeed, but they also had the biggest job for the second round. That he didn't complete it in any regard is hardly my problem.

... This is really just a technical question, but how can someone who were on my team in round two and fared worse than me in round one survive the elimination if I didn't?SlappyMcGee wrote:Indeed, but they also had the biggest job for the second round. Because his team score was more weighted than his initial score.

Well, I was grounded that week. I come back on Monday to find out that I had responsibilities that needed to be taken care of.Diamondeye wrote:Okay now I'm completely lost - not all of our team was eliminated? I did send you the map once I was able to get back online. You got it, right?SlappyMcGee wrote:Indeed, but they also had the biggest job for the second round. That he didn't complete it in any regard is hardly my problem.

Yeah, but it wasn't accepted, because it was way late.
