The ratings are a combination of an average formed by your group score (You'll not that the group scores listed above are not the finalized scores, merely placeholders) and your initial score for your original submission. If your submission was great but your team stunk, you could still hypothetically pass.

And no, you can not rejoin. Inactivity of your group may have been a factor, but really, the map was in the hands of one person, and they did a bad job (or maybe it was left in your hands. But then you did a bad job. Either way, it is not my deal, unfortunately.)

Frankly, I can't allow people to rejoin the competition because that is unfair to everyone who was eliminated who does not get to rejoin.

I see your point. I was just a bit tense about the whole "Cheez had the responsability for our team's map and advanced while most of his team sagged behind" - wasn't the people in charge of the groups the worst rated maps from first round, or did I misinterpret?

... This is really just a technical question, but how can someone who were on my team in round two and fared worse than me in round one survive the elimination if I didn't?

Because his team score was more weighted than his initial score.
