I don't think you can use my trick on the left side, because you need to be coming at the bb from the side with a decent speed, and not from above. Otherwise a very good route, I agree it probably is able to be Analu's time.

As I said, I did that trick once on the left side, and now I can do it pretty consistently, too (the key is holding 'left' during the jump). Anyway, this is the new 0th route: (this was my first try skipping top left gold jump on the block, so I dunno how exactly the drones can move after)

so.. I was improving my episode 87 score, and in the process, improved my 87-1 run to 2nd. there are a few major improvements; some of which i think could be used to take the 0th, especially the ending.

If you can sneak in between those 2 bottom mines on the right then collecting that gold should be very fast and you should be able to beat the drone coming back over the top. The CJ can take you through the gap in the mines above but at that angle and speed (along with the drone hampering you) you end up slowing back down and no better than the standard "old" route.

As for that 60-2, i tied 0th with it a while ago, so it's definitely faster. I would have probably taken it if I'd let go jump few frames sooner. (i have no idea what times i used in this sentence)

I think it would be faster. The problem with the old route is that once you reach the drones at the top left they are in the wrong position to be able to get the exit switch quickly. Beating that drone on the right SHOULD let you nip in and out for the exit switch.

On an unrelated note, has anyone got N working well on Windows 8 yet? I haven't spent much time on it but just switching to XP compatibility mode doesn't seem to help, it still lags like a biatch.
