Taken 20-4 with a new route.

Nice innovation, as always. I actually thought of that one too, but I didn't bother to test if it was faster.

I know what you mean. The problem is trying to gauge if route B is actually faster than route A. It was difficult for me guess visually if it would be faster. JP, how sure were you that the route was faster before testing? How sure do you have to be to actually put a new route to the test? Maybe we need to be more aggressive with new route possibilities, even if they might seem unorthodox or counter-intuitive at first. Also, I like your little trick at the start to save a few more frames... keep up the great innovs!

I had completely forgotten 93-2 even existed. The community has not visited this level in a long time. That run is awesome. The first descent and ascent up the middle is some serious technical work. Great job Macro.

Great 20-4! I improved my run past 107 yesterday, and have pushed past 108 today. I'm pretty satisfied with this run, although there are many places for improvement in my run. Highscoring this level gave me a good sense of just how polished macro's run is.

93-2 (which I thought for a second was 92-3 [as macrohenry was a master of this level], and golfkid saying:

Comparing 93-2 with the various changes and the various lead swings makes me think there is still room for improvement; and furthermore, it increases my desire to see an MBD of this level. Paging jp2ace.

I might have a go at an mbd, but thats the kind of level that will take quite a long time.

Taken 66-0, I'm disappointed to have only taken it by a frame, I had plenty of better AGD-1 runs.

Damn 22-1 is a super clean run. And on 4-3 forget the innovations on the way in (though those are nice touches.) The three perfect exits through the 1 wide gaps on the way out from the center are far more impressive. Those spots are true run killers and are much much harder than they look. Great stuff Macro.

Nice runs macro, very clean both of them :) The innov on the way out of the inner chamber is the best one, saves most of the time.

In the second 1 wide gap exit, its faster to jump a bit earlier to get a push in the top corner, although this is barely significant (maybe 1-2 frames).

Great job, macro! Amazing that you took half a second off a level which is a bottleneck for the first half. I think "innovation" is a bit generous for both levels, especially the latter which is really a tweak and is a fairly axiomatic idea, but its elusiveness is due to the fact it relies on executing a tricky chimney 2000 frames into the run. Either way you slice it, both runs are deserving of credit. Also, I am now working full time, and most of the time I am not working will be used on editing and research for my book. Ergo, I am retiring from highscoring N permanently. I will still be active on the forums and numa, however.

Yeah, wow. Avoiding using the 1 tiles in each of the gold chambers and preemptively drifting left/right in the air to immediately do the WJ to get out and not clipping the corner on the way to the exit, doesn't seem like a lot but everything including the chimneys was faster. Well done.

I haven't been playing much recently except for some random top-20 runs, but I have still been lurking and I'm enjoying these column/game speedruns. I had a go at column 00 myself but some of the later levels (like 09-1) were annoying me too much. It would be nice to see some runs on some of the other columns too.

You know, even with exams going on, I was still expecting to see a new episode 0th by the time I woke up this morning lol. Glad to hear exams are almost over for you, maybe you'll be able to find time again to join us on irc. macro's been showing up every once in a while the last couple weeks, but we've been missing the reigning grandmaster. Besides, you've got a milestone coming up... 20 days until you pass xela's record for longest continuous time as grandmaster. Unless we institute an emergency Occupy Eddy movement.

Ep 37 doesn't stand a chance (especially with the latest -4 innov'), unlike ep 13 from which you "only" managed to save 2 seconds using the innov' on -3 (I was expecting you to save at least an extra second on -2).
