Nice man! Seriously that's cool. Hopefully it'll stick around a while. It's a tight run and btw I didn't really get 124.125 either, I think you suspected that anyway. Do you think our method in the top right is any faster or not? I think I'm almost just as happy for you! Congrats. :PInfernus wrote:23-0

Hah, thanks buddy. I didn't think you had a 124.125 :Pska wrote:Nice man! Seriously that's cool. Hopefully it'll stick around a while. I think our method is slightly faster, but I'm not sure.

This is an interesting point because like some innovations have been made by xdude and myself over msn. This may have been one, but I think his move on this inspired me to not only highscore 23-0 (which got bumped off but just regained it) but also helped me come up with the 11-3 innovation and also on a map i made, exploiting the various bounce block/one-way combo glitches he said hey you could try that on 40-4, and I did. In other words, it helps to share your ideas..ToeFaceKiller wrote:Great run man! That was one of the few levels I skipped over on my quest, just couldn't make that all gold jump without running into the drone. xdude was the first person to come up with that jump btw, not that it matters or anything... Awesome job though :D

I know only one other person submitted a demo on NReality, but I did get a 0 without getting any of the gold, (while the other person got all the gold) and I beat msyjsm's all gold time as well. (His demo isn't on NReality)
I plan to improve it with an AGD using the same method if I can.

I'm not sure if a no-switches AGD is possible anymore. :/ I reached where I needed to get to but I didn't jump far enough to reach the gold...
Maybe I need to walljump between the mines one tile lower, but I'm still not sure...

Can anyone beat Road_Rage on this map? http://nmaps.net/142079
Also, does anyone know whether he is an alias or a newbie? Cos he's either damn fast or a cheater... Pretty hypocritical of me seeing as I was accused on the same map, but at least I use Nreality....

I have to agree with you . . if you watch his run frame by frame every single one of his double jumps is frame perfection . . . its certainly not impossible but that is hard to do especially three times in a row

That is really obviously fbf'd. No noob comes out of nowhere with runs like that, and I don't accuse blindly.mam wrote:I guess this is probably the best place to post it...

The demo before his last said he FBF'd it. So I'm fairly certain it was done in FBF.ToeFaceKiller wrote:That is really obviously fbf'd. No noob comes out of nowhere with runs like that, and I don't accuse blindly.mam wrote:I guess this is probably the best place to post it...

I've tried, because i was 1st by one frame. But i've given up too quickly. ^^17-2 by 0.3, I wonder why that level hasn't been taken before, it was quite easy and is still improveable by a triple jump at the start. (i guess 110.5)
I also know that 149 is possible on 17-0, because i've died with a 150.1 on the floor. (i've missed the last corner, was too fast.)
Well, episode 17 is now digusting for me. I prefer working on 71k total game score :D
EDIT : 148.725.
146.900 with a stupid missed gold.
And then, FINALLY, 148.800 :D
Pfiou...I need some rest.

There's quite a few runs i'm proud of, most if not all of them on speedrun. There's one where i'm behind xaelar, which is 16-4, just after lookatthis.
I also have about 7 0ths which I am proud of, which xaelar might have come across ;)
29-0, 29-3, 67-3, 126-3, 143-2, 143-4, 154-4
ALL of my scores are non-FBFed. 143-4 i'm especially proud of because although I triple-jumped up the corner, my jump key is 'Z' so it's a lot harder to do than shift-jumping, which I presume most players use for their jump-key.

Thanks to furry for this awesome sig. He likes birds, he does.

Nice run on 29-3, Outright, I hate that level with a burning passion.
