I'd say its probably MBD level, but you can never rule out rule out macro/eddy pulling it off.

Just some thoughts on the level. I am pretty sure both of these innovations are known; I even think macro attempted the CJ one in his 0th and just missed.
CJ when coming up the left side of the map:
Methods of turning around in the top right corner to head back towards the exit.
Current Method: Slide and turn jump: 211f
WJing the twump: 206f
Corner Shoving the twump: 203f
Slide and turn jump then BWJ the twump: 198f

Hey, not really an innov but a suggestion, you might want to check my 82-1 run, its AGD -1, and I'm confident I would have beaten 163 if I hadn't had that sloppy middle ascent before the exit switch.
Any ideas on how to manipulate/avoid the final laser drone at the end? I already checked, and waiting for the laser to stop firing is slower than just skipping the gold as I did.
It could clean about 1 sec, I suspect.

Obviously its slower, but it looks as though you had a big enough lead on macro to still take the 0th.
It would be most efficient to turn at the gold above, but this might lead to the drone shooting too early:

What if that drone was triggered when crossing center gold of the map from the bottom left to top right? Yep, that's what macro does. You get the laser to detect you by going slower at that point, however, well, that causes the bottleneck which makes macro lose time. In case you haven't seen it, if macro had taken the exit switch just slightly earlier, the bottom laser drone would have detected him and blocked the way, killing him. The problem with that route is that going slow is also a problem, so there is a very tight sweet spot to reach the switch part, which even if you get right, its still tough to pass it alive (notice how macro, after taking the switch, has a tough time dodging the laser drone on the gold chunk).TheRealOne wrote:What if that drone was triggered when crossing center gold of the map from the bottom left to top right? Okay, so it's not a xaelar 0th, but I have a nifty time saver for 38-3 which I've also just remembered that I had ages ago, but never really got around to doing anything about. Be advised that my start (i.e. not wall jumping) is quicker than Eddy's start, and that my route alteration is far from optimised. I have a score of 129.275, but it was only to secure a top-20; I have no intention of challenging the 0th. (It's not my kind of level to begin with, and even if I clinched it by a frame or two, Eddy would just roll over me with the innovation.) If you don't get the difference, just demo my run against Eddy's and you'll realise the differences. Have at it; I'd like to see this 0th break 131, which I believe it could quite easily, and predict 131.2+ to be attainable with an optimised run. The alteration can be optimised in the following way:

Damn, nice innov. That was, even if it doesn't seem like so at a first sight, a ridiculously clean run by xela, I had a tough time cleaning it. And now, after the effort is all done, you share this big time saver :P 131 can clearly be broken with the regular innov, not to mention if you skip the jump you mention in the picture.

Theoretically if you can get your entry angle above 51°, you can pass. Though it seems to me that by that point you are falling faster than going sideways, so i doubt it is possible. (of course feel free to prove me wrong)

72-4: This is a faster way to do the right hand side going clockwise, which works out at a similar speed to the current route, but with the added advantage of being able to lure away the drone that limits the end of the run (it might not be obvious but macro has to slow down a lot in the top-right corner to avoid it).
