To everybody else, I'll have judging done by Tuesday and then we can move on to round 4. :)

Hey.... paste was broken and I went on a walk in the woods all day with my family for father's day, can you please judge me?

EDIT: To clarify, "Paste as Edit" isn't working so there's no reason to make a paste out of this right now.

You know what would take this to the next level?

The map for each round should be the winning map from the previous round. Then we keep track of all the winning maps and have a super long retile/reobject chain of awesome maps.

Wow, sincerelly, that sounds superb. It is a really interesting idea for the competition!

You can finish Round 4 and Round 5 as you're doing currently and then we have a winner, and for the next set of rounds when scores are reset to zero again start as script said. Really interesting thing.

Admittedly, I considered doing that, but then I realised that I'd only be doing judging...
UNLESS the person who submits the highest-scoring pair becomes the new judge?

Oh, and zoas, it's my competition and I'll do what I like.
Fortunately I like script's idea.

How does that sound to everybody else?

Unless I'm misunderstanding, I don't think that would work out too well. That is, if you're still aiming to have five-round blocks, it would actually be unfair to the winners -- they'd have one less chance to score points, yeah? And if, say, script and Meta kept alternating wins, they'd end up losing horribly...

In case that was incoherent, an example of a five-round block:
script: 30 + 0 + 30 + 0 + 30 = 90
Meta: 25 + 30 + 0 + 30 + 0 - 85
Me: 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 100

Oh! Potential solution -- we use the average of the scores, not the total. That would be much more fair. And this is assuming everyone is on board to judge now and again, of course. How's that sound?

Yeah, the judging would have to be altered accordingly. I will make a poll after the end of the next round and see where it takes us.

The same way as script was suggesting something I was suggesting something more as well.
I sincerely can't understand why you only argue against me, I was only suggesting something as script did, neither I can't understand why you use that tone.

I don't know if it's poor English, but it comes across as though you're telling me what to do.
Script's making a suggestion, you're giving an order.

I think that's the difference.

Decided to try a reobject first this round.

Life247 - #n-highscores: Grrr, you're too perfect Meta.
Pryocheese - this map: of course you'd figure out how to cheat anti-cheat methods
Kablizzy: Click
kkstrong: I fully expect him to sig that.

TOO BAD!

That would be pretty hilarious, actually.

I like Script's idea of having the winner of the round be the next map to retile/reobject, and have considered suggesting it myself. An added bonus is that it'll save you time and keep your map count at a healthy level.

Edit: what happens at a tie? Specifically (and I'm assuming the re-X of re-Y will be the map chosen) this:

Winner 1: 20+25
Winner 2: 20+25

Granted, the chance of this happening is quite rare, but it doesn't hurt to ask "what if?" Maybe a poll? Or perhaps whoever posted first?
