I personally think that xaelar is the best Episode speedrunner/highscorer, but Meta_Ing is the best at numa speedrunning/highscoring.

Meta_Ing finds a lot of slick innovations that make his runs enjoyable to watch. Xaelar is a ridiculous person, allowing him to always out do the competition if he can see their route, usually if he can't as well. So if by better player you mean the player who can get the fastest time, that's definitely xaelar 99 percent of the time.

As far as on NUMA goes I'm not sure, I don't go there enough to really compare the two.

NUMA's best highscorer/speedrunner is Meta_Ing, not me.

I have too agree with the rug designer. You keep on forgetting much better speedrunners. *cough*kryX*cough* Which reminds me, Meta and I are usually tied on NUMA speedruns. ;_;

Edit: Oh, NUMA's best speedrunner. xela rarely goes on NUMA, so there is no choice. Psst, add Izzy to the choices. :/

To add to what izzy said I can tie most of meta's NUMA runs, But since he speedruns/highscores more NUMA maps than anyone else and he is good, he is def the best NUMA highscore/speedruner. But if Kryx were to speedrun some numa maps and xaelar were to highscore they would both dominate.

I think Meta_Ing is the best because he doesn't need anyone to pre-define the route that he uses, he usually kust plays the map for about 5 minutes before finding the best route, and dominating it.
xaelar is good at the play game levels though.

Overall, xaelar is in my opinion - is the best currently active N player in any form. Usually, when he plays numa maps, he can beat Meta_ing. As TRO said, he's just more noticeable because he submits more NUMA runs than any other currently actibe player.

I believe a lot of players do that. If xaelar decided to give up In-Game Highscores and switched to NUMA runs, he would definitely own. NUMA maps have way less competition and are much easier to score anyway.

It's mainly innovation that helps out our runs, and stealing innovations.

Meh.

pfft.. xaelar has over 250 metanet 0ths. How many does Meta_Ing have? Some of you guys clearly do not understand the difficulty behind getting a metanet 0th, in any case - most of meta's numa runs i can beat within a few minutes.. and i am not the best by far.

I think that he meant the most successful NUMA Player, and from what I've heart, it is Meta.
Metanet 0ths do not count for NUMA, ska ;D

Let me just breakdown some numbers. (yes there are problems with the fact that there's a span of a few months that are missing and that just the numbers don't tell the whole story but bear with me)
First up, Highscores:

Meta_Ing:
Total submitted level: 959
0th count: 396
* count: 22

% of runs that are 0th: 41%
*s per current 0th: .06

mammaletto:
Total submitted level: 597
0th count: 339
* count: 21

% of runs that are 0th: 57%
*s per current 0th: .06

xaelar:
Total submitted level: 745
0th count: 532
* count: 117

% of runs that are 0th: 71%
*s per current 0th: .22

Over a similar number of levels submitted mam and xaelar have a significantly higher percentage of runs that are 0th. However xaelar has many more 0ths on hotly contested levels than either of them.
Note: Because this isn't the least bit important statistically I felt free to round off numbers.
Next is, Speedrun:

Meta_Ing wasn't even close in this so I'm not listing him here.

Gutland:
Total submitted level: 453
0th count: 419
* count: 9

kryX-orange:
Total submitted level: 919
0th count: 679
* count: 25

No need to give exact percentages. kryx has far more quality speedruns than anyone else and the majority of them are 0ths. However Gutland is still worth mentioning here.

So anyways, just some food for thought on this subject. Note: I'm not implying that there is any real significance to the above.
(bytheway I hold up very well in the first analysis. However, I didn't add myself since I consider xaelar to be far better and I wanted to include mam as a tribute to the fact that when he puts his mind to it he produces some incredible NUMA runs)

Edit: This was quickly done in 5 minutes so if I didn't make something clear please just ask.
Numerous ex-0ths (xaaaaeeeelaaaar!), over 300 top-20s and a 19+ hour total score.

kryX-orange:

.
Hmm.. do you think the fact that NReality erased all runs from september on after it went down may have affected this, seeing as kryX and Gut have been around for a bit longer than I have, and since I made a lot of runs after december?

Quotes (Click to open):

Izzy and TRO - #n-highscores: <@Izzy> Where'd those frames come from? | <TRO> meta's ninja runs faster | <@Izzy> He stole TFK'S?!
Life247 - #n-highscores: Grrr, you're too perfect Meta.
Pryocheese - this map: of course you'd figure out how to cheat anti-cheat methods
Kablizzy: Click
kkstrong: I fully expect him to sig that.

I did note that this may have been affected by that right at the start. (Unreality, please try to put together something that will just tell us what map numbers we have demos for on our .sols)
Edit: Note however that kryX actually started doing n-reality runs not too long ago.
